upper right quadrant pain
anyone else get really painful pain here on their period. I have been for years - I don’t see how it can’t be related to my cycle when it comes with every period like clockwork. But when I’ve had scans etc for gynae pain and heavy periods I’ve been told the two things aren’t related. I’m a little

Wife ready to give up on Thyroid Medication, bad reactions like allergic to something in it.
They ran a bunch of tests Scanned her brain but with no
iodine
because of reactions with
iodine
. EKG x-ray chest blood work. Nothing found. Just Thyroid numbers off slightly and it was only because we suggested testing for T-3 and T-4.

Chronic Fatigue in Pelvic Pain Disease - Endometriosis/IBD/Bladder Pain
Hi everyone, I am new to this group, and am hoping for some help and support from seasoned pelvic pain sufferers. I will give a bit of background of my medical history, and wonder if there is anyone who can relate with any aspects with confirmed diagnosis of IBD or Endometriosis who could give advice

Why is my TSH increasing?
I had my thyroid removed in Jan 2020 due to thyroid cancer and had RAI in June 2020. Since June 2020 my levothyroxine dose has stayed the same. My TSH has always been below range my levels are been suppressed due to cancer. My last blood test at GP surgery showed my TSH has increased to 0.43 from 0.22

Newbie here. My experience
Had Radioactive
iodine
therapy (RAI) after many years of ups and downs with Graves disease (hyperthyroidism). It's been almost four years since I've had RAI and I feel better being on this side of the battle (hypothyroidism).

I want to get rid of this disease ASAP. How can I do? I'm really disappointed with my hyperthyroidism.
Because of the side effects of radioactive
iodine
, I'm afraid to treat it. Now I take Carbimazol vs Propanol. I can't go to hospital because of my country's conditions. I want to get rid of this disease ASAP.

Deeply upset by A&E visit that was very unhelpful
Where are women supposed to go when they’re in agony with endo flare ups!? I went to my A&E at 4am last night and took 7 hours to see a doctor. I was having horrific pelvic pains, feeling very faint and nauseous and after having taken codeine at home I felt I was that desperate for help I had to go to

Advice is needed please on Latest labs
I'm talking kelp for low
Iodine
and have lowered my dose of Vitamin D My TSH was tested again yesterday and is now at 6. But I think there is still an error here as I feel ok. However, My FT4 & FT3 are still not converting. My TPO is down to 17 from 600 which is wonderful.

Infection after Laparoscopy - really struggling
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here, and I hope that this is ok to share. Buckle up, it’s quite a long post. I had a laparoscopy that I paid for privately back in 2016. That diagnosed Endometriosis and Interstitial Cystitis, and recovery from the surgery actually felt very manageable

Supplement, Iodine advice and more
I think I read somewhere that if you are on Levothyroxine you shouldn't take
iodine
. These multis have 150ug
iodine
. Would it be better to take separately a Vitamin B complex (along with Vitamin D, Fish oil, Turmeric and Magnesium that I already take)?

Newly diagnosed hypothyroid - medicate or not?
>>And might I continue to get better now that I'm taking
iodine
(and selenium, D3, B12), or is there a limit to how much that will help?

A and E Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.
Woke up at 5 am Sunday morning with severe pain under right shoulder blade which remained all day despite maxing out on paracetamol. In the evening I dug out some codeine tablets I had for sciatica last year and added those with similarly little improvement. Monday was more of the same except by now

in Dried Wakame Seaweed could affect my thyroid levels? i've been eating around 4 grams (around a 1/3 Cup) with many dinners in a row, and it's just occurred to me the

Poor nail quality
When I google my symptoms, I keep getting "
iodine
deficiency" as a probable cause. I have always avoided
iodine
like the plague as it´s said to be bad for people with autoimmune thyroiditis.

Could someone help advise what these skin growths/bumps would be? This might be quite long but any help would be great! :)
Hi all, I really hope somebody can advise me! Sorry if this is long. I've decided to finally post online and ask about this problem because I am getting nowhere with it with the GPs or the hospital (more on those later) So anyway, in August 2021, I noticed a red raised bump, looked similar to a spot

Salivary Glands Swollen 6 Months Post RAI
Hi everyone and thanks for reading! I had RAI treatment in October of 2021. My dose was 100 mci. I immediately had swollen and painful salivary glands which subsided in a day or two. I have had no issues with them until the beginning of June. Now, they constantly swell when eating. Some days are worse
