Advice needed please!
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and would love some advice as I'm in a difficult situation. I was diagnosed with RA this summer but at that point my symptoms weren't really too bad, stiffness in the morning and some pain but nothing too extreme. I'm 31 years old and also a type 1 diabetic, insulin

PCa Aggressiveness and Glycemic Levels at Surgery.
New study from Brazil. "Both Gleason score and primary Gleason grade were lower in hyperglycemic patients with prostate cancer than in normoglycemic patients, suggesting a "protective action" of hyperglycemic states." Obviously, this is a blow to those who contine to believe that sugar feeds PCa, but

Hi, Since there are no other forums for pancreas issues, I hope you don't mind me posting here. Back in 2003, I had acute pancreatitis due to alcoholism, had an endoscopy which showed I'd lost 2/3 of my pancreas (I was never told which bits). Never had any pancreatitis thereafter, despite still being

Help interpreting OGTT results
Hi everyone, I'm new here so apologies if this is not the right place to ask this. I recently took a 2-hour OGTT and was a bit confused by one of the results. Who measures diabetic ranges?
We all are aware that a person with FBS between 70 & 110 is non-diabetic; between 110 & 140 pre-diabetic and above 140 is diabetic. However, who determined these ranges?
