Strong negative reaction to first Docetaxel treatment
I am participating in an NIH study combining Docetaxel with an immunotherapy. I had my first treatment of only Docetaxel this Tuesday. I lasted 2 minutes and 7cc before I had a severe reaction - severe flushing (glowing red from head to toe), difficulty breathing, sweating, uncontrollable shivering.

I have recently started niraparib after surgery and chemo, initially side effects minor, slightly raised

Following on from my previous post when I was eventually (after 6months) diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of my lower left lobe, I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the lobe - called a Lobectomy. I’d just like to say even though the lobe was ‘sticky’ and therefore the surgery took 4.5hours, which was longer

Swimming advice
Hello to all you amazing, strong, determined beautiful ladies 😍 I have always been an avid regular swimmer, the last 5 years I have swam in the sea and lakes mainly. However, my oncologist advised against swimming atall during treatment due to the significant risk of infection and the possible impact

Ibrutinib VS V&O
Hi everyone I am looking for some clarity here. I started IMBRUVICA a few years ago and all is well so far thank goodness. What I’m wondering is: it seems from what I’ve gathered here that V and O is fixed term and causes remission back to watch and wait while those of us on IMBRUVICA are on it indefinitely

Primary Peritoneal Cancer
I was diagnosed with PPC stage III C in April of 2023. After consulting with onocologist and gynecologist/oncologist it was decided to do 3 rounds of chemotherapy then debulking surgery followed by 3 more rounds of chemo. After first 3 rounds I had a very positive response with major shrinkage of tumor

Bone loss, due to any CLL treatments?
This is not strictly related to CLL. My sister has had chemotherapy for breast cancer, which caused bone loss/reduction of bone density, especially in the jaw area. Are there any CLL treatments that cause bone loss?
