Alvesco 160 alternative
Has anyone ever had to use an alternative to Alvesco 160?, Is there a suitable alternative?. I have had to call 6 different pharmacies today to try to obtain my Alvesco 160 . All have advised it is not in stock and it is coming up manufacturer problems. They are unable to obtain it. I managed to locate

Doctor said its Covid
I am not sure this is the right place to post but I am worried and frightened. I have an anxiety disorder and I’m 35 years old. I also have sinus tachycardia. I started 10 days ago with Covid symptoms after daughter and husband tested positive. I am now on an inhaler as I keep getting shortness of breath

Hi I'm new here
Prescribed tiotropum and Ventolin
inhalers
and was told I had approximately 8 yrs left if I carried on smoking. I gave up smoking 6yrs later when I was diagnosed with PAD. I figured that I had pushed my luck after 50 yrs of smoking. Struggling with breathing during February this year.

Hi another question from me as I’m new to this, hope everyone is well. I’m not seeing the GP til the 26th so just thought I’d ask some more advice. My Gp has given me a peak flow meter, prednisolone for 7 days and a ventolin inhaler. I predominately spoke about shortness of breath in the first appointment

With the best will in the world I ran today. - fully intending to run 10k for my 75th anniversary of VE Day medal but it was not to be. When I ran on Tuesday it was 13 degrees and I ran in a short sleeve top and capris - today it was leggings and a long sleeve top and when I got home Garmin told me it

Spacer for Qvar
Hi I am trying to find a spacer for Qvar inhaler ( with a round nozzle), Google suggested Aerochamber plus but it seems to have an oval nozzle. Anybody using it with a spacer? Thanks

Breathing problems
My peak flow is still 500-600 so I’m not sure i agree with my doctors when they keep telling me it’s asthma and upping my
inhalers
(that are doing nothing). I’ve been diagnosed officially after literally just over 6 years and have started Levothyroxine two days ago!

Is anyone else on 2 puffs of duo resp twice a day?
I was diagnosed ŵith asthma about 18 years ago after a bout of wheezy bronchitis. I was left with a cough. I was given various treatment and am now on duo resp. steroid inhaler. I always feel like I’ve been misdiagnosed though, because whenever I need to see a doctor when I feel breathless, my peak

I don't know what my real voice is.
I read that steroid
inhalers
can damage vocal cords. My voice always changes. It depends on who I speak to, or if I'm nervous. If I'm speaking to a family member or close friend, it's usually fairly deep and consistent. Sometimes it does change with family though.
