It could just be coincidence, ie an exacerbation that you would have had anyway, or it could be that the inhaler isn't right for you.....but if things are not manageable at home (so reliever medication not working or not lasting as it should) please do go to a&e. Don't wait for your consultant to get in touch.

If things are ok but "underlying rocky", could you contact your GP? Maybe you need some oral steroids at the moment? But as I say, if it's more acute than that please go to a&e.

Hi coral12

I am sorry to hear this.. but I had exactly the same problem myself back in March.

My cons changed my Relvar to Fostair nexthaler - which was absolutely awful for me.

I managed to get my surgery to swap to the MDI version of Fostair which I took for a month until I ended up being admitted for a week.

So i took the initiative and swapped back to Relvar myself - being in the middle of lockdown I had no hope of cons contact.

I have been better since but was not surprised as I have had bad experiences with Fostair in the past.

Don’t let things get out of control waiting for your cons to contact. Try and explain to your GP and at least get them to swap you back until you can talk to your cons.

Don’t end up in hospital like I did!!

Hope you get sorted soon.

Take care 👍

I have used Relvar and Fostair. I hated Fostair, it worked well if I was fine but when I had an exacerbation Fostair, stopped working.
