Prednisone

I bought a very good book at a thrift shop for $5. I’ve learned so much. Did you know that one 5 mg prednisone pill delivers 5000 micrograms to the body while one puff of a common inhaler only delivers 87 micrograms to the body regarding steroid.

Wow! Such a tiny pill…

Well I believe that most steorids inhaler have not this high dose of steorids in there. Not sure the body would cope with such high amount every day to inhale.

Would be also not healthy at all. So the pills are quite powerful and will work wonders to make space for better breathing. LOL

Be careful with that drug, it causes cataracts. I’ve had to have both eyes operated on as they grew within a six month period. I wasn’t warned by my doctor about the possible side effects. :-(
