Mast Cell NHS Consultants?
I have been on montelukast for about six months as I was having bad reactions to most of the
inhalers
I was trying, and whilst it has helped somewhat with the asthma and reduced the reactions I have to my cat (usually my eyes swell up and itch until I can hardly see!)

Flying with asthma
Hi all -- Has anyone here done research on flying with asthma? My understanding is that planes are pressurized to about 2 km altitude -- is that correct? Another potential issue is the air humidity -- does anyone know if the air is humidified, or is it only heated? If the air is only heated, the humidity

lupron. seems this drug kills testosterone and is supposed to starve cancer cells.. while radiation kills the cancer.. I was reading. Outsmart your cancer by Tanya Pierce.. The medical argument is that testosterone is the evil thing here but really is a lame argument.. As Dr White has said if this

Managing occasional breathlessness
I got rather breathless on my walk today as it was unexpectedly cold. It happens. Recently I was changed from Ventolin to Salamol. I am fine with that in principle, but I have had mixed results when using it. With Ventolin I know it starts to kick in after 10-15 minutes, but the first time I used Salamol

Parkwalk
Hey Everyone I've just completed my first parkwalk, I missed running and did want to run it (I might have jogged a tiny bit) and my time was 51:28 which ironically was my first Parkrun time back in the summer, way before we even knew I had any heart issues. I had my GTN spray, Asthma inhaler and am

Hi folks I posted yesterday (I think :) does anyone use this inhaler? and how do you find using it ? I have been put on it instead of seretide but find it is making me a bit light headed for a couple of hours afterwards, Think the mucous production is reducing a little. Would appreciate a reply if you

Cough 14 weeks and sore throat
Hi, I had a cough for about 14 weeks. Saw a doctor about 4 weeks ago, gave me antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. Chest sounded clear. I was sent for a chest xray, which is clear. However I developed a feeling of tightness and sore throat and pressure and sought pain in my ears for about three weeks

Clenil Modulite 100 side effect?
Good evening I was started on the above inhaler just before Christmas,, 19th December to be precise , taking two puffs morning and evening. I’ve had mild asthma since age 11 , now 57, primarily exercise induced. It didn’t bother me at all for many years but recently I’ve been feeling like my rib

Using an Expired Ventolin inhaler
A friend just gave me an unused Ventolin inhaler. A doctor friend of her’s claimed that it’s safe for me to use, even though it expired in 2018. Appreciate any replies🙂
