B12 deficiency - abnormal red blood cell result
Hi everyone, Sorry if this is not the right place to post but I was diagnosed with a vitamin B12 deficiency about 5 years ago. PA test negative but I understand that’s possibly unreliable? Anyway, the injections made me feel so much better and B12 now at the higher end of the Range. I’ve had a couple

Functional B12 deficiency.
Hi All, what is functional B12 deficiency? Are there any tests for it and what do they look for. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could my issue be b12 related or not with these ranges.
any insight on these levels will be helpful. Was due to have more blood work but had a cough so they said after another 2 weeks will do bloods. These are the only blood tests for b12 I have had dates are also included Symptoms started 2013 and have gone worse Is it still possible to have b12 deficiency

Low B12
Blood test for B12 was 177ng/L. range 197.0-771.0 I asked for injections from GP. He said no as they only give injections for pernicious Anaemia and to get a multi vitamin with B12 and suggested retesting in the new year. Is this the correct treatment ?

Help please - Armour thyroid, B12, D, Magnesium, B complex and selenium advice.
How long should I leave between taking my Armour thyroid and taking Sublingual liquid B12? Do I need to take B complex as well if my MultiVitamin (which has high absorbancy) has all the Bs? My multi has 200 mcg selenium, do I still need to take selenium? It also has 600 mcg folate and 100 mcg B12. I

Advice about folate deficiency
Hi all, I was recently diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia through the test after about two years of being diagnosed with B12 deficiency. I took the plunge and self inject fairly recently and that helps a lot. In recent months my mental health has declined and I feel tired all the time. Chores like hoovering

Question about b12 deficiency and ibs
I read online that ibs can cause vitamin B12 deficiency. If so, is taking b12 pills enough or do you still need injections?

B12 and folate relationship.
I understand that B12 and folate are both B vitamins and essential for the production of healthy blood cells but not sure of their relationship to/interaction with one another. My B12 is borderline (233 ng/L) and folate sub-threshold (3.0 ug/L). That they're both low can't be a coincidence. I presume

B12 levels
Hi, I am going to try raise my B12 level as it's currently low. Sublingual B12 along with a good B complex was suggested by Admin on this site. I did a bit of research & joined the a B12 group too. They are advising that the uptake from B12 supplements is minimal & B12 injections should be used. I'm

B12 levels
Could anyone give me some advice. 2 months ago I received 6 loading doses of b12. My b12 was 130 prior to this. My b12 is now 450 and gp says this is normal no further action. I am very tired and have burning legs and feet and cramps which keep me up all night. I've also now have alopecia. Surely

What is the reason that people who have had severe long term B12 deficiency need to take injections so regularly for the rest of their life?
I take Hydroxocobalamin injections every four days to avoid B12 deficiency symptoms. This works well for me, but is there any research as to why those of us who have had damaging long term deficiency need to take such regular injections - i.e. be swimming in B12 to function. Like most of you, I have
