Contraceptive implant
Hi Ladies, I'm looking for alternatives to the combined pill which I can't take anymore due to high blood pressure. Has anyone had the implant and is it suitable for PCOS ladies? Is it painful to have it inserted and removed? Your advice is appreciated. Many thanks

Cochlear implant and tinnitus
Hi , I have just come back after a break on the chatline. I know I have asked this same question before, but is there anyone out there who has a cochlear but still has tinnitus. I would love to hear how you are going.... one question I do have is .. how do you go at the movie theatre? I can’t bear to

Varicose veins caused by implant
I would like to know if anyone else has suffered with the same issue I did with the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon) and it causing me permenant damage to my veins. This is also for anyone out there, like myself, who felt completely alone, frustrated, scared and angry at the side effect and permenant

Last resort for me: Mirena Coil
Hello ladies, long time no post as things have been bad for me recently. I am due to have my surgery at the end of the week, laparoscopic treatment for endometriosis (and to see where it is, he suspects bowel as well as the usual places) and a cystoscopy to check why I'm having horrible bladder symptoms

9cm fibroid
Hi everyone, I've just come back from my latest gynae appointment and my head is spinning a bit. Having hit the google search this forum came up and having read a few posts it seems a friendly place to get people's thoughts and hear about other's experiences. I've known I've had fibroids since my mid-twenties

Possible endo? Chronic Pelvic pain but no one will take me seriously!
Then I switched to the
implanon
because my migraines were getting more frequent on the pill. Big mistake! I had so many bad side effects for 6wks that I had to get the stupid implant out. I was sooo sick.

Endo, Constant Pain, Terrified, Need Advice
Last October I had my
Implanon
removed. I had constant spotting with it and I had enough. A few months after I removed it I noticed pain after sex, I mean pain that would last for days after sex. Then the pain just wouldn't go away.

Hello from Jenny
Hello , I left the group for awhile , but decided to come back to see if there was any progress made or any good advice. Just in case someone is interested , I wrote to the Neumorod company in Ireland. Unfortunately because I have a Cochlear Implant at this stage they can’t help me, I thought this might
