Prioritising fertility
Secondly, as endometriosis can grow back very quickly, should we not be timing the surgery to be right before

Complete fertility/Wessex?
We will be having ivf/
icsi
. Need to wait for our funding to come through, have a few more blood tests and scans done and choose our clinic. I’m really struggling to decide between Complete and Wessex Fertility. Has anyone had any experiences with either of those-positive/negative?

Hi all, we are due to go through our 2nd round of
ICSI
after a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Previously I was on the short protocol but now they want to put me onto the long protocol. Anybody else had this during their treatment. The first time on the short i was fine.

Egg collection
My doctor said he might need to do a 2 day transfer, depending on what’s fertilized (he’s doing
ICSI
despite no male factor as it doesn’t cost more here) and if they look ok. Is this normal? I’ve never heard of a 2 day transfer?

My journey
We learned we needed
ICSI
Bc my eggs were not accepting my husbands sperm . I was very grateful to at least to have A reason . Our next retrieval we got 8 blastocysts , this was where my son came in. I felt like I was in a dream. I couldn’t believe my prayers were finally answered .

Follow up after 1st failed icsi
Hi there, We had our negative test on 29th August. Contacted clinic - south wales - to tell them. They said they would discuss our case in a team meeting with Dr, nurse and embryologist and decide on our next plan of action and then send me a letter for a follow up. We were on a long protocol. We got

First post.
We have just been through another miscarriage after having
ICSI
. We have had miscarriages before and an ectopic pregnancy. This one just feels ten times worse because we went through the treatment and had hope and now it's gone.

Chilling out during IVF/ICSI/FET
Hey Lovely People, I'm just wondering what everyone does to chill out while they go through assisted conception? Do you distract yourselves with a good book? Chat to a friend? Bake a nice cake? Do yoga? I'm curious, because although I'm not anxious exactly and pretty happy most of the time, I often feel

Egg donor clinics - seeking advice
Hello, My second IVF cycle has failed due to the same reason as the first - poor quality eggs that couldn't be fertilised even with
ICSI
. The odds of a third cycle being successful are less than 10% for me so my partner and I have decided to go down the egg donor route.

No Fertilised Eggs. Devastated.
My husbands sperm hasn't the best morphology so they did
icsi
. Found out yesterday that none fertilised! How is this happening and what does it mean?! Anyone else had this and gone on to get fertilised eggs and fingers crossed get a bfp? Really need happy stories to give us hope. Xxx

Dhea-Which One?!
Hi, so I had my follow up appointment after all of my eggs failed to fertilise after
icsi
on Friday. Apparently I have poor quality eggs (flaccid to quote the doctor but not low egg reserve) and this is incredibly rare.

Any cycle buddies?
I had my baseline scan and bloods today for our first
ICSI
short protocol cycle. Trying to stay positive and not get my hopes up too much but both are proving difficult already! xx

Negative pregnancy test - icsi
Morning, Just an update, did our pregnancy test 14dp5dt this morning, and it was negative. Feeling totally heartbroken. Feeling like I've let everyone down again, had a missed miscarriage in 2014 and blamed myself for that too. This is just totally rubbish, dreading my period, they are normally painful

Work life after an ivf BFP?
I have just had my bfp after my 2nd cycle of
ICSI
, I took leave for my 2ww and now I am dreading going back to full time work on Monday. I work on my feet all day and I am so worried that something bad will happen if I’m tired or stressed at work?
