Adenomyosis NI
Stage 4 IDE/RVE, multiple laps, now feeling a different kind of pain for past 2 years and believe it is likely to be adenomyosis based on symptoms. Is there anyone with adeno who has found a consultant in Northern Ireland (NI) who knows about adenomyosis? Or even what tests I could be asking for? General

IUD copper coil
I had the copper coil for 5 years, I thought I had no problems with it until it came out very recently. I found that I had very low mood and was very anxious when I had it in, but I thought it was unrelated to the coil, however when it came out I felt loads better, I had it out for 5 weeks before getting

Pain after Coil
Hi everyone, I recently ( one week ago) had laparoscopy that removed a cyst and treated some areas of endometriosis and also they inserted the Mirena Coil. I'm recovering very well and feel great apart from a pain high in my vagina, what feels like my cervix. Has anyone else had this pain after getting

Getting pregnant after pro stap and mirina coil x
Hi, I had 6 months of pro stap injections which finished in January, I’m just wondering how long it took people to get back to normal? I’m going to book to get my mirina coil out so I can try for baby number 2. I’m really hoping to be pregnant by the time the year ends🤞🏼🤞🏼

Trying to conceive after Mirena coil
Hi everyone I’m planning to have the coil removed this summer to start a family. I’m just wondering how long it might take for things to settle down after having the coil removed? Also wondering for those who’ve fallen pregnant, how long after Mirena removal did it take to conceive?

PAIN EVERYDAY - What to do
My pain has been so frequent recently making me vomit and dizzy. I’m under a lot of stress with uni atm and many so I know my body is exhausted. I’m trying to stop taking strong pain killers like tramadol but sometimes the pain is unbearable I can’t even walk or get up. I have not had an operation yet

Questions re: Mirena coil & surgery follow up! What check should be done?
Hello 👋 I had a laparoscopic surgery with excision of peritoneal/ superficial endometriosis 5 weeks ago. A Mirena coil was placed during the surgery. I’m still recovering ❤️🩹 but think I’m gradually doing better, though not been back to work. My questions: Does anyone know if the coil is meant

Advice Please!!
Hi All, I’ve had a meeting with my gynae consultant today. After having the diagnostic 2 years ago, my periods have come back with vengeance. I’m either 10 days twice a month or nothing at all ( currently haven’t had one for 40+ days yet still getting immense pain). She scanned me and basically said

Surgery Wounds
Hi All So I had my S-
ICD
implanted last Thursday and am slowly able to do more although it's all very surreal. I wondered if anyone had any advise about the healing of deep surgical wounds using degradable sutures.

IUD Copper Coil - Worth it or not?
Hello, I am new here. Me and my man are not planning to have kids in next 5 years and the best natural option we found to prevent "little accidents" was Coper coil IUD. I am 20 and have never been taking any other pregnancy pills but I have been always having very heavy and painful menstrual periods

Is the mirena coil making me this way??
Hi, I have had the Kiera coil fitted 18 months since having my 3rd laparoscopy for severe endo. Everything has been fine , my period stopped but for the last 3/4 I have had pain again, my moods are horrendous and my passion for life and tolerance for people is thin! As well as the weight gain and acne

Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, are they the same?
Hey everyone, I recently had an internal ultrasound as part of the beginning of my investigation into endometriosis and the woman was absolutely amazing - she found 2 things. Firstly, she said my copper coil was embedded into my uterus, so I need to have that removed (which actually got me a referral

2 weeks post op ? What’s normal?
I had major surgery to help with stage 3/4 endo and had the coil fitted to help not only with endo but adenomyosis. It was the longest surgery I have had done Surgery went to plan and endometriosis was removed within reason BUT Is it normal to feel deflated and have good and bad days still, Internal

Lower Back Pain. Both Side of Stomach and Pelvic Cramping
Anyone get lower back pin that’s not your back but it feels deep as well as pelvic pain. The back pain redacted to the side of my atom and from of stomach and pelvic pain and period cramping. When I initially told doctors they told me to do back exercise but it feels deep in my back. As well as this

Pain worse after coil fitted
Hi everyone, I had the Mirena coil fitted in November to help with my Endo pain and bleeding. They did say it can take 6 months before it starts to work but the pain has worsened and the fatigue is awful! I am struggling on a daily basis and can't decide whether to wait it out as it has only been 3 months
