After FCR in 2015 and BR in 2017, our doctor suggested my husband to start Ibrutinib since his lymph nodes in abdomen are almost 7-8cm, wbc above 25, platelets under 100 and he has lost 5-6kg in the last month.
I want to thank you all because I've read so many posts about Ibrutinib and now I'm ready. So great to be a member!
Our appointment is tomorrow with another specialist. He has to confirm the treatment so the social security funds the Ibrutinib. It's really very expensive..
Thank you all again!

Aylin, I have been on ibrutinib for 18 months now and am doing quite well on it. I think the chances are excellent your husband has a great response to it. And in the unlikely event he doesn't do well on ibrutinib, there are still yet other good options.
Please follow up and let us know his treatment got approved. Iyi sanslar. (I hope I said that right, if not its google's fault)
If you're in the US, there are foundations that will help pay for the ibrutinib, check the PAN Foundation, but you have to meet certain guidelines. Good Luck!!
My husband did BR and it did not work for him, so we were grateful for Ibrutinib. After a year, (and after 5 months of severe neutropenia before Ibrutinib) his numbers are close to normal. Best wishes for a good result for you. Lots, and I mean lots, of water is the trick!
