As I’ve had a rough few weeks, I really want to opt for the
hysterectomy
. I need to be as healthy as I can for my little girl to run round the park, be able to go swimming etc. (

Hysterectomy and menopause
Hi all I had a total
hysterectomy
last july and went straight into surgical menopause. There's a few issues I would like advise on. One is I've been left with a lot of loose skin around my belly which has made me very self conscious. I wondered if anyone else has this.

Thyroxine
Hi, I came off my oestrogen patch 6 days ago after 15 years following
hysterectomy
at 45. I’m 60 now and I’ve been diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer. I’m waiting for surgery. So far so good with regards to menopausal symptoms.

The anti hormone/chemical menopause injection
He suggested that the last thing left to try away from a
hysterectomy
is this anti hormone injection which would be me into a chemical menopause.

HRT and the menopause
I had a full
hysterectomy
10 years ago and have been on HRT since with no issues. I assumed that because of this I would bypass the menopause? However I think I am suffering the symptoms, hot flushes, aches and pains, lethargy, weight gain. Am I going through the menopause?

Anyone have Endo pain, right sided pain etc when not having their period (on birth control)?
My obgyn wants to do
hysterectomy
but I'm just not sure yet. My general care Dr put me on pain medication years ago & has kind of left it at that although I've been to her (& others) repeatedly trying to get some sort of help & relief for the pain.

Positive vibes 😁
I have an endemertiosis diagnosis and awaiting a
hysterectomy
however due to the COVID-19 this has been cancelled. I joined this group for support, help and tips on how to deal with my symptoms. I have noticed a lot of negativity towards the NHS in recent posts.

Chances of endometriosis returning?
I just had a total
hysterectomy
with removal of my tubes in March (along with bladder and rectum prolapse repairs). During the operation, the GYN found endometriosis and removed it. What is the recurrence rate of endometriosis returning when the ovaries were left in since they looked good?

Synarel experiences?
I’m due to get full
hysterectomy
and ovary removal so will go into surgical menopause. In the meantime I will take Synarel to hopefully combat the pain. I’m very nervous about any possible side effects or long term effects of the drug so would love to hear anyone’s experiences. Thank you x

Hi everyone, I’m the new kid on the block 😊.
No, it’s not menopause symptoms, as I had a complete
hysterectomy
in 2005. So, now I’m taking anti anxiety meds. Helped some, but not a whole lot.
