Hi everyone - can I ask for some advise please. My mum had a radical hysterectomy 11th feb and was diagnosed with Stage 1C1 ovarian cancer for the removal of a 22cm mass in 1 ovary. She has had no further treatment. Everything has been fine until the last week where she is saying she has a lot of pressure down below and also when she urinates the last part of her wee is hard to get out... sorry if I’m not making much sense as she is saying it’s a hard feeling to explain.
She is saying it isn’t burning tho. Did anyone have this kind of feeling, she says when she’s busy she doesn’t notice it but it’s mainly at night?? She is going to call her nurse tomorrow but I said I’d ask here too ❤️ thank you all x
I think it is best if you seek medical advice from your DR or nurse..
I did have some pressure down there, it could be remaining gas from the operation, or scar tissue, which does strange things to the body, sometimes making it feel taught in places and tight.
She has an excellent chance of a good recovery, so good luck xx Nicky
Hi well it’s not a UTI as everything come back normal from dip test... now she is waiting for her nurse to call her back tomorrow. Do you think it would be prolapse? Or worse?
