New here and a less common type of OC
Then 6 weeks later I had the
hysterectomy
surgery to remove everything else. No spread was found elsewhere so I remained at the same staging. I'm 42 and would love to hear from other women who had this type of ovarian cancer.

Hi all, can anyone relate to having very low pelvic pain with ibs?
I know it’s not gyno related as have had
hysterectomy
. Can bowel pain be that low down? It’s just a constant stomach ache😫

Aches and joint pain in the night…
Diagnosed with stage 2 OC in December, full
hysterectomy
then 6 rounds of carbo/pax…coped well with that but now I feel like I did 8 rounds with Tyson in the night as I turn over! I am wondering if it is the menopause or a side effect of the chemo?? Xxx

Hot flashes
It’s been eight months since my complete
hysterectomy
. My hot flashes and night sweats are terrible. Because of estrogen fed breast cancer and being on an estrogen blocker I’m wondering if I can get relief with anything? How long can I expect This to last?

Lupus and operations
I am scheduled for a total
hysterectomy
for the end of October. I was wondering if an operation like this will cause my lupus to flare? I’ve just had my first cat scan and ultrasound (since last December) that shows no new blood clots in my legs or lungs! Yay!

Confused/ anxious about how invasive a surgery to go for...
Should I: Get a
hysterectomy
? I am considering a partial or full, but not keen on the idea of immediate menopause or taking HRT. Is it possible to have a partial
hysterectomy
and to keep your ovaries – what happens to hormonal function/the way I feel in this case?

Vagus nerve damage following hysterectomy.
I had
hysterectomy
20 years ago! When I had operation I had an abdomen full of violin string adhesions which took a long time to separate. Since then I have had bouts of right sided abdominal pain, nausea and fatigue. Now been diagnosed with low vitamin b12. All investigations have been ok.

Recovery time after partial hysterectomy
I am due to have a partial
hysterectomy
which will be keyhole and wondered how long the recovery may be. I know everyone is different but if anyone has any experience they would share of the operation and recovery, it would be appreciated. I’m starting to get nervous as the procedure approaches.

Radiation
I had a
hysterectomy
in June removing 20cm tumor Grade 3 and other organs. This has been followed by chemotherapy, and I today finished 4th cycle out of 6 of carboplatin / taxol. CA-25 has gradually dropped to 18 from high in the 400s.

Really need help please, possible endometriosis, just had 6th prostap injection, but some pains returned last 6 weeks.
I’ve just had my 6th injection so contacted the consultants receptionist to see when my appointment will be and she said if I’m getting pain the
hysterectomy
won’t do anything, so basically I’ve been through menopause hell for nothing and I’m just going to be left like this forever I can’t take much

What side effects have you had if you've stopped taking tibolone?
I have finally got a date for my surgery;
hysterectomy
, both ovaries and endometrioma removed, endometriosis removed, possible bowel resection and possible ureteric stent - 15th September. After waiting for 12 months.

Planned Hysterectomy - Starting to Panic
Its not the never being pregnant that's scaring me, or having to go back in for surgery (although that does come close), but the side effects of having a
hysterectomy
. I have heard of so many horror stories.

My Dr recommends having the
hysterectomy
after I try the fertility treatment, but I'm terrified of getting pregnant and being in this pain with a baby!! I can barely function myself these days without having to look after someone else. I always thought I'd be a mummy but now I'm not so sure.
