Feeling a little abandoned at the moment, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer April 2021, this was incidentally found after biopsies were taken during a total hysterectomy with bilateral oophrectomy for stage 4 endometriosis, I required no further treatment, Ive had 2 follow up appointments, however, on my last one early this month they have discharged me, I understand it was an early cancer, however, I am experiencing a distended stomach that several doctors have examined and the following line "this is not normal" i have had a CT scan and bowel investigations all come back clear - but this still leaves me with a distended stomach and no answer, as you can imagine it is a constant reminder and worry that they have missed something, my lymph nodes werent tested, during the surgery they obviously were unaware of the cancer - could some cells of been left etc? Finding it difficult as to why they would discharge after 10months when i have further symptoms, I did challenge this and the response was we will leave it to thr gastroenterology team 😪

Has anyone else been discharged after 10months post diagnosis?

Would love some advice 😀
