CAR-T cell therapy for prostate cancer
Hii I have heard and read about CAR-T cell therapy . It may be most effective treatment for cancer as it uses immune cells called T cells that are genetically altered in a lab to enable them in locating in destroying cancer . Though this is not available for commercial and common people use in India

My Bladder Cancer Update.
As I stand now I have my LAST BCG treatment this Thursday, that will be followed in six to eight weeks with a flexy cystoscopy. I am at moment Low Grade - If my cystoscopy shows a tumour, then I will have to go in overnight to have it removed, That would not mean back to High Grade necessarily .

Has anyone done the proton therapy?
Just curious if anyone had their MO suggest doing the proton therapy? When I have my discussion with my new MO, I want to ask if proton therapy would be a fit for myself. I have to deal with the prostate cancer and the met pelvic lymph nodes as well as the met bone issue.

The Existence of the Oligometastatic State in Prostate Cancer (and other cancers)
Members of the FPC Forum: I submit to you that either I am a Prophet/Visionary, or I am a Fool, but I state clearly... and emphatically...that the oligometastatic state exists in Prostate Cancer and other cancers as well..I believe that if we were to sum it up as an equation, that it would be something

Letrozole alone after a year of chemo
Hi everyone, my mom is currently being treated with only letrozole after a year of chemo which didn't work very well (she is 100% Er and Pr). She took it for 5 months after taxol and it worked much better, now she has a follow-up Pet scan after another 5 months. I wanted to know if any of you have successfully

Large lesion on liver - 10cm x 5cm
I am after a bit of advice from anyone that may have been in a similar position to me. I had blood tests done towards the end of last year due to on going acid reflux symptoms. In the last 6 months I have been on the cancer pathway for investigations for throat and stomach, all biopsies came back clear

Radio Frequency oral therapy for liver cancer
New FDA approved home therapy for liver growths; small antenna that is kept in the mouth for 1 hour daily. The science is radio frequencies that interact with cancer cells and keep them controlled.

Hot stone massage
Hi everyone, I'm still on a watch and wait basis regarding my lung cancer, and at the moment they have all grown 1mm and am mostly feeling ok. It's my 60th birthday next Friday and my daughters have booked us in for a Spa day, included in this is a hot stone back massage, but I've read it's not suitable

CTC circulating tumor cell count
I haven’t seen too much mention of CTC tests when PSA rises. Some rises at very low levels are not clearly correlated or confirmed by PET scans. So why isn’t CTC used, too expensive, inaccurate, most men lack a baseline test? Just curious if anyone tests this and what their experience has been

3 months since ovarian mass was an incidental find on CT scan and still waiting for my MRI.
I've posted on here before about this but I'm getting antsy. A fibroid and possible ovarian mass were found on a CT when I went in for stomach pains (which turned out to be diverticulitis). On the CT scan they noticed a a complex cyst on my left ovary, however they couldn't be sure if it was just a
