My appointment with my oncologist yesterday made me aware after reviewing the MRI from last week, that the met that was on my skull is now spread into soft matter in my head. I was set to start a double Chemo treatment yesterday , but it was decided the treatment would do no good, and that quality

Would oral iron be useful given my Iron levels (in description)?
I have RLS and got some bloodwork done. The following came up: IRON , SERUM 91.0 µg/dL TOTAL IRON BINDING CAPACITY ( TIBC), SERUM 353 µg/dL FERRITIN , SERUM 116.1 ng/mL I was wondering if Oral Iron would be useful for me or end up giving me toxic levels of it.

Update: It has been a while!
I have missed you all. I do read your posts. I am feeling better and tolerating Abraxane! I am now on my fifth cycle. I have some tummy issues (trust me you don’t want to know the details lol!) but I am dealing with it. I do experience neuropathy pain in feet and fingers. If it gets worse we are thinking

Hi, I’ve had stomach discomfort for more than 30 years. Had every test endoscopy twice, every medication and no change in fact it’s worse than it’s ever been. Wake every night at 2.30 with a stomach ache. Huge gas builds up like a blast. I feel it move, go back to bed and it builds again. I’ve tried

Recent iron results - not sure what to do now
Hi everyone, I've recently had an iron panel (NHS) after 10 weeks of supplementing with 1 then 2 x Three arrows per day, as well as taking cacao liquid (as recommended here) in the hope of increasing my stubbornly low ferritin. However I'm not sure how to read the results so any advice very welcome

colonoscopy
Hi all. I’ve got to have a colonoscopy, with three days of a low fibre diet as part of the preparation. The hospital has given me a list of foods I can eat, but at least half of them aren’t gluten free or the gf equivalent is higher in fibre. I’m also vegetarian and on a low fat diet, and at the moment

Left Basilar Atelectasis and consolidation, elevation of left hemidiaphragm
Your experience with atelectasis and consolidation including elevated diaphragm? Pulmonologist much better than thoracic surgeon I'm guessing? My primary referred me to thoracic surgeon for new 12mm lung nodule. The surgeon (seems very highly rated, lots of experience) said the nodule was not suspicious
