he has pneumonia
He was given one dose of erythromycin but came out in
hives
so was taken off that. I went back to my docs (AGAIN!) on Friday and he suspected pneumonia so we went to hospital for an x-ray and indeed it's pneumonia. They have allowed us home with open access til our check up on Tuesday.

Hives
When i come down with a vrius i always get a bout of itchy and very irritating
hives
. Antihistamines help with the itching, but they are so annoying, any tips to stop me scratching?

Uncontrolled, Steroid Resistant Asthma
There is no response other than to increase inflammation of my lungs, encourage more mucus, induce acute anxiety and
hives
of 24 hour duration. It seems I display every side-effect in the book with none of the desired relief.

xolair and tiredness
He has also been coming out in
hives
and having random allergic reactions for around the same length of time. It may well be some sort of viral thing but thought I would check with you guys.

Hives due to viral infection
I have been getting
hives
whenever I get a viral infection (I thought that they were just allergies as well, but GP said its like body is attacking itself) and theyre driving me right up the wall.

I'm a little lost and don't know what the next step is
My preventer stopped working so I did ask for a new one prior to this appointment and unfortunately I had a bad allergic reaction to it and my family said that my lips were really swollen and I had
hives
. That was dismissed and I have no preventer now.

I stopped taking my steroid inhaler last week as i started to get
hives
on my neck and my tongue started to blister, and the skin was starting to come off, and it was very sore, so the nurse advised me to stop it until she could fit me in for an appointment, and when i finally got to see her, she told

How can I get the doctors to help my son?
I said, because he has a runny nose, itchy eyes, itchy ears and
hives
on his stomach! - what else would be causing that? he's obviously suffering with an allergy! Any suggestions please? I'm made to feel like I'm wrong for taking to the doc's.

Can anyone offer any insight?
However in the summer I started feeling really unwell and became covered in
hives
and then developed numbness in my arms and legs, I have been taking predisolone since then but the numbness continues and has spread to my face and sometimes I have it across my back.

Does anyone know of alternative treatment for DLE other than prednisolone?
Have recently been suffering with
hives
and lesions due to DLE and have read that the best treatment is to take steroids. To say I am not fond of steroids would be a HUGE understatement, and so am enquiring about any possible alternatives that may relieve the itching!!!!
