Does Anyone Feel?
I am wondering if its possible to feel as well on thyroid replacement as I did pre hypothyroid. Just for background looking back 4 years ago I felt really fit and healthy, had plenty of energy, was going to the gym. Then the pandemic hit and my gym closed down and went bust. In June 2020 I finally started

Reassurance needed on starting T3
I am in the early stages of adding liothyronine to my levothyroxine regime of 20+ years. The Endo instructed me to change overnight from 75mcg levo to 25mcg plus 2x 5mcg liothyronine. Thanks to advice on this forum (SlowDragon) I learnt that I should proceed slowly and have so far dropped my levo to

Medichecks results - early signs of hypothyroidism?
Hi everyone, I've just received my advanced well woman blood results from medichecks and everything was fine apart from elevated TSH. TSH - 4.78 Free T3 - 5.08 Free Thyroxine (T4) - 15.4 The doctor's notes suggested that this can be an early sign that I am developing an underactive thyroid

Ambroxol
Would anyone share if you have participated in a clinical trial using the drug Ambroxol for PD? There have been several clinical trials which have published encouraging resusts, mostly in the UK. I am not formally in a trial but have been duplicating the dosage for about 12 months. My experience is favorable

Collagen for Hair Growth?
Hello everyone. My hair has got worse (thinning and brittle) since being on T3/T4 combination therapy so I've been looking at what makes hair healthy and collagen keeps popping up as good nutritional support. I've also discovered another reason could be that I've been taking too much selenium and perhaps

Hello, I know i've posted before but this is an update on labs now that i feel i'm doing much better, less lethargic and now on 100mcg levo per day. Labs were done in the morning and didn't take meds before.
My main concern was the T3 but the endo suggested that this was ok for my age and based

Gooddaysagain
I keep reading of tests people have/had, e.g. for Vit B12, Vit D, etc., and specialists they have seen. After over 3 years of being unable to see a GP, I phoned last Friday afternoon in distress. I live alone and sometimes don't know how ill I am until a friend notices and tells me. GP is new, and young

New test results
Hi, Here are the Blue Horizon test results for my friend where I think she's showing hypothyroid because of the low T4. Do you agree? Is Total T4 also a bit low in range, do you think?Next step will probably be to get the gp to test again and check the low T4 wasn't a one off as there's no thyroid panel

Vit D tips please
I have been taking 20 mcg Vit D in 1 dose for some time now Latest D results are 92 (50-160) As it’s a water soluble vitamin, which clears out of the body quickly with water, is it better to split the 20 mcg dose into quarters and take 5 mcg 4 times a day? Thanks for your tips Persevere

Vitamin recommendations?
Hello all. Just doing some research as alongside an underactive thyroid, my vitamin levels are very low. Does anyone have any tips of particularly good vitamins to take, as I’m sure I will need stronger than a standard multivitamin! Have added my levels for reference. TSH 6.51 (R 0.27-4.2)
