Absolutely new, 77 on the outside but younger on the inside. Would appreciate any advice relating to PMR please, just any tips that you found helped you. Have any of you found that your hips or spine have been painful due to this condition? Had open heart surgery last Summer, and now my ribs and upper

Fast heartrate not a symptom of being undermedicated.
Just spoke to doctor and he says if your undermedicated, it will cause bradycardia NOT tachycardia and having read replies to my previous posts, this appears to be untrue. I'm just so frustrated and angry having to deal with doctors who don't know what they're talking about, God help us all!!!

Echo findings
Whilst in hospital with fast AF I was given an echocardiogram. This was my first echo in AF. I have an echo every 6 months and the last one was normal except for dilated LA which they said was down to my weight. On top of dilated LA, this echo showed mild tricuspid regurgitation and borderline LSVF

Gout. Ouch. Recently had New Aortic valve, double heart bypass and Pericardiectomy. Immobilised for 9 weeks in hospital. Have had to learn to walk again. Now I am on my second bout of gout and the pain is unbearable. It’s in my ankle so laid up again - I’m a farmers wife and am not used to not being

Expectant parents with a CHD baby - help
Me and my wife are expecting our first child and at the 20 week scan we discovered that she has a hypoplastic aortic arch with associated VSD and as such will require open heart surgery soon after birth. I'm looking to speak with other parents who've dealt with a similar diagnosis to see what we can

Update and advice please - new blood results
So I started levothyroxine about 4 months ago. A couple of months at 25mg. Then onto 50mg. At the time my vit D was low at 22. And my cholesterol high at 8.1mmol and my triglycerides at 6.45. My endo put me on fenofibrate to bring the triglycerides down. My latest results attached. Please note,

Do I still have angina?
I was diagnosed with angina about 7 years ago and after quite a few lifestyle changes I had it under control....I haven't needed to use my spray for years. Three months ago I had a heart attack and had two stents fitted to my LAD, apart from a couple of minor issues with dizziness if I stand up too quickly

Checking pulse daily hugely beneficial
When my GP diagnosed AFib I was given Bisopropol 😔 swiftly changed to Nebivolol and Apixaban and for weeks I just felt rotten most of the time. I then subscribed to technology which gave me unlimited reports on what my heart was up to at any time of the day or night. Reports were consistently showing

Dronederone
Hi all Two months ago I was prescribed 400mg Dronederone twice daily to slow down the frequency of AF episodes and also their duration. These were coupled with 5mg Bisoprolol and my usual Apixiban. Sunday evening at 7pm an episode started and as I write Tuesday 11am still ongoing. So it would seem this
