Where to source otc warfarin 1 mg or 0.5 mg
I need to buy 1mg or 0.5 warfarin. My mom 13 years ago had mitral valve and aortic valve replacement and requires to take warfarin but recently we found that her fit size should be 1 mg and or 0.5mg which is not in her residential location. I'm willing to trade 5 my warfarin for 1 mg or 0.5 mg. I can

I want to feel normal again
I had a CABG X 3. 5 months ago was hoping to feel at least a bit better by now but just feel worse. The cardiologist has said the way I’m feeling is nothing to do with the surgery. My chest pain is gone but I’m breathless and unable to walk far. I could walk farther a few weeks ago than I can now. I

What bra did you wear after bypass surgery?
I am fairly new on here and I’ve finally seen the consultant and I was told surgery would be in around 3 months. So ladies what bra did you get to wear after bypass surgery? I also have a large chest so needs to be supportive. I’ve looked about but there are so many it’s hard to choose, I do have

Post cabg.2- 16wk recovery review
I recovered well, no issues, but my cardio was very slow, and this annoyed me because pre op i was quite fit.I didn't want the op and didn't believe i needed it.Plus i was scared. The surgeon wanted a four way and i definitely wasn't having that.I said i don't want it to to fail, not two years in or ten

Ezetimibe
Has everybody experienced any side effects on Ezetimibe. My mam was prescribed this in March 2022 after suffering serious side effects on statins. Following a successful miteral valve op and single by pass in December, all the same symptoms are coming to a head again. Pains in hips and legs, cramps,

Doing the rounds of doctors again.
Early last month I went to Japan and met my daughter who's living over there. As we set off I was getting quite short of breath and my daughter (who is a doctor) started quizzing me as to why I was short of breath. I did try to brush it off-saying I was old and unfit but she kept persisting and told

Do I have PTSD
But he was ill so I stepped up. 2016 my dad has a major
heart
attack and has to have a triple
heart
bypass
. I was there when he woke up. Its the worst I have ever seen him. Later on when he was still in hospital my uncle had a bad heart attack as well. I helped my mum take care off them both.

Feeling Disappointed
Following an ablation for SVT in January 2021 I have been problem free for two and a half years (at least heart wise). I began to feel breathless about three weeks ago and now am experiencing fairly regular runs of af. I have had an ablation for af in the past as well as surgery to repair leaky valves

Post surgery
I'm 5 weeks post bypass surgery. My problem is that recently the soreness and pain in my chest has got worse. Is it possible that I've strained something by reaching and stretching? I've also been doing light housework such as dusting and sweeping. The pain lessens when I'm resting, but always increases

Alcoholism
Hi.Another member from the mental support forum suggested joining. My alcoholism came on quite suddenly, just after my Father passed away on 04/04/2022. Then 1 month later I had to have a heart operation. Since then my life has literally fallen apart. I used to be very physically active, dinghy

Update post op
Hi all Friday will make me 4 weeks post op avr. On the whole doing great, walking 5/6k a day breathing greatly improved. However I have developed a bit of a cough which is causing me extreme pain, almost as if I have broken my ribs. Has anyone else experienced this after Heart surgery and do you think

Traditional Mediterranean diet and warfarin
I am 5 weeks post mechanical valve replacement. I'm on 8/7 alternating warfarin. I am 26 and was brought up on a Mediterranean diet which I have not been following since discharge because I have been avoiding the higher vitamin K foods. I have also been eating much more meat and high protein food than

My First Pacemaker Followup
Today was my first real follow up with my EP since the fitting of my pacemaker and AV node ablation done on February 13 and 27th. I have not been feeling 100% although much much better than before all of this. I guess I expected more not realizing other things are in play with me and it’s not just

The old vegan vs other nutritional diet comparison persists
I have been following a strict vegan diet program since 2015. I began to hopefully slow or reverse my diagnosed heart disease. Did the conversion help with either? Who knows? It is, I believe, not something that can be definitely proven. But, I believe it has helped, so I’m content with the change. But
