Please could somebody assist in where you post your "introduce yourself post*? Is it here?
Here to learn and maybe help if I can after my experience.
Heart attack Nov22 and had a triple heart bypass two weeks later. Rehab and recovery went very well and was back in work end of Feb23. Took every positive from the negatives and quit smoking (12 months smoke free) wish I'd done it sooner. Just come off my Ticagrelor meds after the 12 month prescription and hoping now I can start feeling warmer !! Feeling very fit and in the brink of joining a gym to do some swimming etc. I'm not without a few minor issues but getting there. Supporting the BHF and an glad I've found this site so that I can learn from other people.

Yes, you’ve got the right place. You can either edit your current post to add your introduction if you would like, or create a separate post. It is entirely up to you. I look forward to getting to know you :).
It was simple tbh, what I went through, there was no way I was going to go through it ever again, so my decision was made for me. I could not start smoking again and throw it back in the faces of nurses and surgeons who saved my life.
Good morning and welcome Donny64. You have done so well by the sounds of things with your recovery and stopping smoking. And you will find a lot of friendly people in this group who you can relate to and get good advice. Just keep well and warm in the present weather conditions and enjoy your weekend. Brian
Hi and welcome to the forum, you sound really positive and have made really good changes especially giving up smoking as a ex smoker myself it definitely makes a difference not only to your health but also your wealth 🤣 I cannot believe the price of them now, I have no idea how anyone can afford it anymore. You can update/edit your bio in your profile, then it's always there, and can update it again if your condition or treatment etc changes in the future.
