Flu Shot & DEXCOM September 2020
This morning, I had gone to my doctor’s office for a flu shot. So far, no problems except for a little soreness and feeling stiff near the area where the shot has been done. This is a lot better than last year’s shot because the numbers aren’t going too high on my receiver.
Please see below for

Flu jab and tapering
Recently diagnosed and now slowly tapering from 35mgs, about to start 30mg after being on 35 for two weeks. Not much help at all from G.P., taking me off prednisolone too quickly, and now he has left it in my hands! I am a retired nurse but I'm also a sufferer of P.M.R. who is frightened

Flu Jab Shortages UK now
Has anybody else been told that surgeries can't vaccinate those under 65 years of age now! Thought those with severe or moderate health issues/ problems at risk if contracting Coronavirus would be prioritized? I am praying that my appointment begin of November is not cancelled! Thinking of you all! Christiane

Flu jab
I received a message from my gp today telling me I’m due my flu jab. And yesterday it popped up in the early morning in the House of Commons about the flu jab. Anyone else having theirs done? Does anyone think it even makes a difference? And I’ve been told you don’t feel well after the jab- get a cold

Flu Vaccination 2020
There appears to be some confusion regards the 2020 Flu vaccination and the availability to different groups. Perhaps the following link will give some clarity. See official Government vaccine poster: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/flu-vaccines-for-the-current-season

GP Surgery on lockdown
Rang my local surgery today to try and establish e few things 1) If I was to get an "annual review"as promised including blood test etc 2) If I could speak to someone about anti-platelet meds that I am having issues with and 3) If/When I am going to get the Flu jab as recommended/advised by NHS. 12 minutes

Access to flu jab
I care for someone with chronic heart failure and is listed as vulnerable. He is 51 and currently GP is unable to provide the flu jab and states that they are doing this for over 65 only. Apparently even if vulnerable they are still unable to provide flu jab at this stage. Is anyone else under 65 having

Did Pred takers come under shielding list?
I found it difficult to follow (ie keep up with and understand) the various rules and guidelines back in March. Pre dx and hubby and I just stayed home apart from a trip to local shops once a week. So which group did you all fall in? I ask because I’ve now been told I can have a flu jab which is all

I've been offered a flu vaccine but I'm on Benapali. I don't normally have one because I've always had a reaction but with Covid around, just not sure whether to have one or not this year..any suggestions please? x

Flu jabs
I wondered if you have had trouble getting a flu jab? We have heard stories of shortages and confusion at GP surgeries. Thanks Sarah

Flu jab side effects in asthmatics?
Have you had your flu jab yet? Did you have/have you had side effects from the flu vaccine? If you did, may I ask what they were?

Good news
I am delighted to be able to report that i finally had my liver function blood test today, 6 months after the previous, but in time for my respiratory consultants appointment. I had not visited my surgery this year and was apprehensive, but it was all well managed and I felt fine. I then reported

Flu vaccine
Hi, I have the flu vaccine ever year but since last October I have horrendous tinnitus. Does anyone know if a flu jab will make my tinnitus worse.

Flu jab before or after cardioversion
I am due to have DC cardioversion in 10 days. Any thoughts on whether I should have flu jab this week or post cardioversion. I wouldn’t want the side effects of the flu jab to bring on AF and makes the CV meaningless. Thoughts very much appreciated. Thank you

Lockdown In NE
Just when life starts getting "normal". Feeling good, no AF, exercise going well and diet right, it looks like the NE of England in big swathes is going back into lockdown. Flu jab cancelled no doubt, and doctors still off limits, no checks have been made since January on my BP , bloods, anything. Yet

To Vaccinate or not to vaccinate, that is the question!
Hello everyone! I wonder whether I might ask if anyone with RA has had a flu vaccination and whether this is considered a safe thing to have considering how RA affects the immune system. I was diagnosed in 2014 and have been taking Methotrexate interjects 17.5mg weekly. Never had one before, but now
