CBD oil any good?
Has anyone used CBD oil for anxiety? My husband has ghastly attacks and is on Pregabalin (also for anti-epilepsy) but even at 500mg a day, the anxiety continues. He was put on Diazepam briefly recently but it had no effect except to make him sleepy. When he is calm I can cope with his Parkinson's (for

Not PD?
I am the caregiver for my spouse who was diagnosed with PD in 2013. He, like others on here had symptoms of Parkinson’s. They have never been what I considered severe with any of the symptoms. How I reduced my Parkinson’s meds by 50% and beat my addiction to dopamine
Fifteen years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Within a year I was taking the standard medication associated with the disease, dopamine in its various forms (levodopa/carbadopa, aka. Sinemet). Like most sufferers of PD, my need for Sinemet, grew and grew until I was taking 200 mg every

Don't keep fixating on dopamine to alleviate your lack of energy.
Dopamine is just one(1) neurotransmitter within your system's complex of neurotransmitters. Unfortunately, many have over exaggerated its importance in treating PD and related energy depletion issues. It isn't that simple. If it were, we would all just dump buckets of dopamine drugs down our mouths and

C/L CR with food?
Many places it is written to avoid taking C/L with food. I think this to avoid the C/L absorption problems when the meal contain protein, and also, I guess if you take the C/L immediately after a large meal, it could be a while before the C/L reaches the small colon (where it can be absorbed)... But

Sinemet, how much is too much?
I'm wondering is there is a scientific guidance or a rule of thumb about how much Sinemet is too much for PWP. I have been very careful about the intake of C/L because of the side effects will come with the long time use of this drug but my panic button was activated when I read a post from a member

I’m new here
Hello, I was diagnosed in 2011, at age 39. I was able to manage my symptoms quite well until about 18 months ago using only an agonist. I started on Sinemet at the beginning of last year, but within 6 months had increased from 3 tablets a day to 9 and started experiencing wear-off in about 2 hours.

Anyone suffered with Sinemet induced dystonia?
I posted a few weeks back that my symptoms were suddenly worse. However I've come to realise that I'm actually suffering dystonia due to taking sinemet. I take just 3 X 100/25mg a day and have been since January. In June I noticed that I had started to feel stiffness in my shoulder and left thigh several

Can you take them together or do they need to be spaced out.
