Has anyone used CBD oil for anxiety? My husband has ghastly attacks and is on Pregabalin (also for anti-epilepsy) but even at 500mg a day, the anxiety continues. He was put on Diazepam briefly recently but it had no effect except to make him sleepy. When he is calm I can cope with his Parkinson's (for which he takes Sinemet Plus) but I am at my wits end about this anxiety. I am new to this forum and wondered if anyone can guide me about CBD oil as the medics don’t want to know...
CBD oil any good?: Has anyone used CBD oil... - Cure Parkinson's
CBD oil any good?
I am a CBD user. My experience has been that the CBD that comes from shops on the street did no good, but when my daughter mailed me CBD from a state licensed distributor, it was completely different. I have not tried to connect my use to anxiety, although I do use it to relax muscles and reduce back pain. Anyway, I wouldn't pay for any that didn't come from a licensed, state regulated shop. I think it certainly worth a try.
And with that statement, Marc, you said a very important mouth full regarding marijuana products that come from a dispensary as opposed to products that can be purchased on line. The dispensary products are what they say they are and do what they are supposed to. The products that can be purchased on line may not and they are often priced similarly to dispensary products. Thank goodness for the placebo effect!
Also, I am just going to blurt out what many of you are thinking, these medical marijuana products are just plain flippin' expensive when you consider what they are or are derived from!!! 😵😵😵😵😵😵

How much do you take? I have just received first order from stirlingoils.com/ I ordered 750 mg CBD oil, as what my chiropractor recommended. It is sold in his office, but they ran out so I purchased online. They offer 20% discount for over 62 or disabled, among others. Know nothing about the company. I also bought the cream with menthol, which I like a lot. Only need a small amount, but not greasy and absorbs well into the skin.
PDGal,
If I were you and if you can do it, I would return the stuff you bought online. My experience is that the stuff you buy online was of no value compared to the stuff from a state licensed dispensary. But, I hope what you have works good for you.
I use of a vape and usually take 1 or 2 puffs in the morning and then only a few times a week. As chartist points out, I find it best used only a few times a week -- because otherwise you need more and more and it's expensive.
Also, I understand some ratio (4:1, 2:1) of CBD to THC works best, although I've never had straight CBD.
It seems to definitely help some people... Please see link, sorry it's a bit banner/ad heavy but you can see the benefits for the woman in the clip. 👍
Thanks
Hi there. When first diagnosed over 6 years ago I used a 4:1 ratio tincture of CBD/THC for pain and relaxation . A couple sprays under my tongue 2 or 3 times s day. It really helped and still does however I’ve learned to cope some and don’t always need or either I’m just trying to act tough . They have different ratios depending on what you need it for . The dr and the dispensary both told me you need a little THC with the CBD for pain and anxiety. Take care. Karen
yes cbd 10% works great for my mom.
