Bone marrow still not producing red cells
I still need blood transfusions to maintain
haemoglobin
levels. I have had these for seven months now and I have iron overload. Has anyone had experience of Exjade/iron chelation? I'm going to have another bone marrow biopsy to discover why erythrocytes are not being produced.

BMJ Best Practice website advice on B12 deficiency
However, a normal MCV,
haemoglobin
, and haematocrit are not useful to rule out tissue vitamin B12 deficiency, as many patients with vitamin B12 deficiency may have normal haematological parameters.

Chronic fatigue but bloods all normal
Is it possible to have PA when B12 and
haemoglobin
test are in normal range? My B12 level is just over 600. I've had chronic fatigue and IBS for nearly 20 years, and whilst the IBS has been pretty much cured by taking high doses of kefir for 6 months, the CF just doesn't get any better.
