I have always struggled with having a borderline
haemoglobin
level and it rarely is on the higher side so 12 (120) or so but I'm currently due to donate again and don't want to upset my (non-existent) control and blood levels of drugs etc, and make things harder.

Want your opinons or experiences
My
haemoglobin
has dropped relatively sharply recently into high single figures which impedes exercise, means I sleep more and was itching more. I know not necessarily all related My consultant has raised the possibility of splenic radiotherapy to reduce red cell turnover.

Advice needed - please - TSH of 2.1 (so no action by GP) yet I am feeling so very ill - what can I do? Is it possible to be hypothyroid?
My
haemoglobin
levels are good but ferritin 16. TSH 2.1. I would like to try to conceive a baby this year but I feel so exhausted I don't see how my body could survive a pregnancy when I feel like I'm running on empty.

Primary, Secondary PV or...
White cells were 8.7,
haemoglobin
21.1 and platelets 240. Last thing, I didn't have a venesection for 2 weeks - will be 3 by the next one - my Haematocrit jumped from 48-52% in just that time! Is that normal? Sorry for rambling, I don't like usually posting on forums!
