Does having CLL really make you 3 times more likely to get (another) cancer, and does CLL treatment add to the risk? - Part 1
CRC screening programmes based on FIT https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/tests-and-scans/FIT are worth doing, though in some countries (UK) the
haemoglobin
cutoff level is so high that it means that half of carcinomas and three quarters of precancerous adenomas are missed.

Advice please.
I was diagnosed with PA in 2006 after having a blood transfusion due to low
haemoglobin
. I was given the loading dose of b12 and then continued to have them every 8-12 weeks. I was also prescribed 5mg folic acid daily.

Alcoholic liver disease is a strong predictor of colorectal polyps in liver transplant recipients
After having completed a Fit-Test (faecal
haemoglobin
test), blood was found in the sample. I later went and had a CT Colonography. This highlighted four polyps in my colon.

Post surgery symptoms are bad again
I also am being treated for low testosterone by three monthly injections, and wonder if the fact this has raised my haematocrit and
haemoglobin
, might be playing a part? As I am now polycythemic.

Question about Dexamethasone with O&V
Haemoglobin
has been hovering between 70-110 throughout. So, my question is about the Dex. Is it helping or harming? I am not entirely clear why my consultant insists it is needed with every single O infusion, given I haven't had any reactions to the last two.

Feeling exhausted.
My
Haemoglobin
, Red blood cells and Haematocrit (no idea what that is or if it’s relevant) are below range, although only slightly and private “well woman” blood tests have shown the same for the last three years.

unsure about diagnosis.
I have recently been diagnosed with low
haemoglobin
and iron deficiency anaemia and wonder if this is related to the problem. Tried discussing it with consultant to no avail.
