Hey Mystik,

It really depends how low and why it's low.

As long as surgeons are aware they are generally prepared for these things and would unlikely go ahead if they were worried 😉

Thank u for the reply it’s knee replacement tomorrow but m already exhausted with appointments n tests today m seeing the anaesthetist

Oh I hope it goes well and you recover quickly and safely.

At least with knee replacements there is usually a much lower blood loss than say that of the hip. I can only imagine your exhausted if your anaemic hopefully you get a good rest after x

A low Hb can be a factor in delayed wound healing. It's difficult to say without knowing the level.
