RSV: what is it, and why are child cases surging in the wake of COVID?
Hospitals in the UK are seeing a rise in children suffering from severe respiratory infections. This includes an unseasonal surge in an infection called the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), in children as young as two months old. It has resulted in growing numbers of hospital admissions for bronchiolitis

PNEUMONIA INJECTION
Hi. I had the pneumonia injection two days ago which caused my fibromyalgia to flare up the following day even more so than usual. I not only could not lift my injected arm up but my lower back and neck were aching so much I could hardly move. Has anybody else suffered after having this injection. I

Chest cold
Hey All, Me again looking for advice about my Mum who has COPD. Any recommendations on how to tackle a chest cold please? She is on blood pressure meds, so all of the Lemsip products we have are unsuitable! So scared about this developing into anything worse - don’t seem to be able to get her fully

How did I catch a cold in lockdown?
More than half of Australia is in lockdown in an effort to stem the current Delta strain COVID outbreak, with vast numbers of us steering clear of workplaces, school, retail shops, public transport and other busy places. Has anyone else had heart complications after their Covid jab(s)? For me, no health issues, medication or family history prior.
Hello everyone. It seems that unwittingly, I've stumbled into the lion's den known as cardio-vascular problems, after my Pfizer Covid jabs. Of course, like everybody else I need protection from this dreadful virus, but never envisaged being in this situation as result. I'm from a medical & environmental

Not sure if I have thrush
I think I may have thrush but not 100% sure. I have a white-ish discharge but no itchiness, soreness or stinging. I've taken oral medication for it just in case but noticed no difference, unsure what to do

Should I investigate further?
I am not sure what to make of my CEA test results. It has been hovering between 8-9 for the last 7 months since I started ADT. They have never measured it before so I am not sure if it has anything to do with ADT or not. My MO had me do a colonoscopy 5 months ago and it came back negative for colon cancer

Anyone else been called for a Pneumonia Vaccine?
I'm having mine this afternoon - I was stunned when I got the call from my GP's Surgery yesterday, as I don't fall into the 'normal' pneumonia vaccine criteria, even more stunned when they said my appointment was today. I'm 59, have never had any issues with my lungs, and don't smoke. I've never had

My child is 18 months and has already been diagnosed with asthma. His cough has started again and is worse at night. We are giving him his inhaler every 2-3 hours and also his brown one too. Does anyone have any tips on asthma coughs?

Result Covid 19 positive.
Dear all, I received my result this morning from yesterday’s PCR Covid test which has come back positive. I had pneumonia last February 2020 and was very unwell until April 2020. Tests for Covid 19 we’re not being done at this early stage as it was a new virus that we were all just hearing about.
