Spices?
I find that following a gluten free diet is very difficult because I have always had a love for spicy foods, but to make up for not going out to eat, or buying takeaways, we always cook our meat, fish, and vegetables with plenty of spices added. But I’m still getting Coeliac symptoms like bloating,

Can anyone help me interpret my results so I can articulate myself better with my GP?
Hello! Can anyone help me with my blood test results please? My symptoms are tiredness, weight gain, brain fog, difficulty forming sentences, heart palpitations, joint pain, inflamed gallbladder. I’ve described my symptoms to the GP and have been dismissed three times now, and can’t afford to pay for

Putting weight on safely
I’ve always been underweight but I’ve lost a little more recently and want to put it back on. I have a gluten free diet, fairly healthy diet (but love crisps 😂) don’t like sweet stuff. Anyone have advice on this? Any good protein mixes/shakes recommended? Thanks x

Treating AI Hashi's & coming off Levo - is it possible??!
Hi there. I have Hashimoto's and my aim is to eventually come off the Levo by somehow treating the autoimmunity. I'm on 100mcg atm but i hate taking medication and I don't want to be on it for life. I've been on it for 4 years now so I worry I'll never come off it. Started at 25mcg and increased dose

Manuka honey and Pancreatitis 🍯 🐝
Hi everyone, apparently honey is good for the pancreas as honey has many healing qualities and this is especially so with Manuka honey as Manuka honey contains Methylglyoxal which's a very powerful antibacterial agent and is what makes Manuka honey special as all honeys have antibacterial qualities

Latest Test results. What to try next.....
I've been on Levo for 12 months. I will be talking to my GP next week who will probably say my results are fine. My main problem is digestive and lower abdominal bloating with constipation a major factor. GP test results(only tests TSH and T4, tested 20th Oct) TSH1.29 range (0.27-4.2) T4 18.1 range

Celiac or not
Hi folks, wonder if anyone can explain my concerns. I was diagnosed with celiac in 2020 through a blood test, the endoscopy showed normal upper tract. I had another blood test in August this year, when I was the nurse for my b12 injection I asked her about the results, and she kindly printed them off

When trying to eat again and better I developed a problem where I just can't go properly anymore. I almost never get an urge to go unless I "stimulate

Looking for UK endocrinologist
Hello, I've recently been found to have antibodies for Coeliac disease after an over 5 year search for a diagnosis for my brain fog, joint pain, hair loss etc. While hopeful that continuing a gluten free diet will bring me relief, a lot of my symptoms resemble hypothyroidism, which is common in people

Is sugar bad?
I’ve been trying to follow a gluten free diet to see if it helps my Hashimoto’s symptoms. Last night I ate something with a high sugar content and woke up feeling awful😭 puffy, red eyes, terrible brain fog, exhaustion. Now I’m wondering if sugar could be the culprit. Anyone else experienced this?

Hashimoto's and not feeling better
Hi there! I'm wondering if it is possible to just never feel better (lethargic, mentally slow, unable to concentrate/difficulty reading, fatigued, short of breath, etc) when having hashimoto's? Like do some people just feel bad for their entire life despite doing all the right things? I know other people

Have I a good argument for T3?
My Endo is desperate to discharge me. We had a discussion on the 4th may about reducing my Levo from 125 to alternating 100/125, told him I’m unwell on that dosage. I also queried the possibility of T3, apparently he does prescribe it He arranged numerous blood tests which later I discovered didn't

Advice please
I would be grateful if anyone has experienced having two kinds of Mercury pharma thyroxine. I started having some 25mcg out of a big bottle that I was told was Mercury pharma and then given 25mcg in a blister pack with eltroxin on the box. I have been experiencing acute diarrhoea and at times complete

New here and very anxious!
Hi, my name is Saba, I’m 39 and have been diagnosed with celiac disease just a week ago. I’m very hypochondriac person and get my check ups every 6 months. In February I’ve noticed that my ferritin level dropped a lot, I thought maybe it was cause by diet I was on to lose weight. Then in my July’s check
