Alcohol intolerance. Is alcohol dehydrogenase causing our continued issues even after b12 injections?
https://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/aa72/aa72.htm So with further research i started taking NAC because appearently cysteine is the rate limiting portion of the formation of
glutathione
which helps process the toxic by product of alcohol, acetaldehyde.

N-Acetyl cysteine (NAC) Another interesting supplement.
For example, older studies showed that cotreatment with NAC rescued rat pheochromocytoma cells from the toxic effect of dopamine combined with buthionine sulfoximine, an inhibitor of gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, or phoron a substrate of
glutathione
transferase [37].

Fatty Liver Protocol
My Nurse Practitioner, however, offered me intravenous
glutathione
, which was helping my liver values go down. She has now been able to get another IV med from overseas that is even better and has shown to reverse fatty liver.

Liposomal glutathione - recommended by nutritionist
Doesn’t seem to be much mentioned on this form regarding the above, but as I was recommended it and reading up about it, it seems to be very beneficial. Was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts or experience on it?

Anyone taking
glutathione
? I’ve seen some studies on it but haven’t seen any mentions of it. Just wondering if it is a beneficial adder to supplements.

Brain Issues
Glutathione
support is also a great ally. I personally take a combination of all these flavonoids daily because I know, like anyone else with a stressful lifestyle, that I have some degree of brain-based inflammation that I want to dampen.

Ridiculous over reaction to alcohol
Is a production of aldehyde dehydrogenase after drinking alcohol, without the correct "stuff/nutrients/
glutathione
" what makes me vomit and/or feel so hung over. Is there any way to correct this over reaction to alcohol /under detoxification?

Betrayal - Episode 5, part 2
Glutathione
is a major detoxifier and antioxidant. Peanuts contain aflatoxins which can't be removed without
glutathione
. If you lack a certain gene aflatoxin can build up. But there are so many chemical toxins we use daily, our bodies simply are overloaded.

Inflammation actually uses up your nutrients as in methyl donors,
glutathione
, taurine, glycine, etc. The importance of stomach acid cannot be exaggerated. A pH of 1.5 is necessary and if you taking acid inhibitors you can raise that to a pH of 5.0 which is the same as vinegar.

Glutathione for RLS
Glutathione
is a master antioxidant which may help reduce inflammation. Perhaps it may help with RLS due to less inflammation. Has anyone taken
glutathione
for RLS?

T3 and rT3 receptors are quite different and don't significantly compete with each other
Reduced
glutathione
and other sulfhydryl (SH)-reducing agents increased, whereas oxidized
glutathione
and SH-oxidizing or -binding agents decreased the binding of [125I]T3 and [125I]rT3 to nuclear extracts, with one exception.
