Considering Conception & Ideal Thyroid Levels
Hi all. I finally saw an endocrinologist and they suggested increasing thyroxine dose by 20% when doing an embryo transfer to ensure adequate thyroxine. I asked about FT3 and FT4 levels but they were only interested in TSH which didn’t make sense given it only signals thyroid production and isn’t a thyroid

Test results and lowered levo
Hi, Wondering if I can get some advice! During a visit to an endocrinologist (unrelated to my thyroid problems) I was surprised with thyroid function tests mid-afternoon. The results (TSH 0.04 & T4 20.4) led to the endo recommending my levothyroxine be dropped from 100mcg (a dose I’ve been on for

taking thyroxin
hi jack I used to take mine in the morning. But have changed it to just before bedtime No coffee or tea for an hour before you take them Caffeine stops the thyroxin working fully So I’m told I also don’t eat anything after 9 and take the tablets around 12 midnight I have found it works

Hypothyroid symptoms but normal test results
Thank you in advance for any insight. These are my test results, sourced from a private company - Randox. I would be hugely grateful for any help in interpreting these or my symptoms. I have experienced severe weight gain - which NOTHING will shift including weight loss drugs. I have had a hormonal

TSH is over 28
Hello, could anyone comment on my blood test, please, because my GP cannot. I am 60 years old female, for the past six months T3 and T4 are normal but after start taking prescribed Levothyroxine TSH went from 8 to 28 and my body temperature dropped to 33C. I have felt extremely weak, constantly

Next step in solving the mystery of my burning feet, but need a little bit of advice
Hi all I’m in need of some more advice. As suggested, I’ve tried raising my vitamin levels since Nov 2023 and although not perfect, they’ve gone up. I’m still having burning in my feet so decided to go to a consultant. Below are my most recent bloods. 7th Feb 2024 Medichecks Blood tests

I’m only on second round of six total. So far, labs are looking good except LDH is slightly higher than normal. I, like you, ask my oncologist for info. Mostly, I focus on how am I doing today…. What’s my energy level, status of my hands and feet (hand and foot syndrome for which I use Voltaren

6 weeks on T3
Good morning lovely people, Just an update on my journey. I have my first results on being on a trial of T3 for just over 5 weeks, bloods drawn on empty stomach as advised by private endo at 7am Levothyroxine 75mcg taken 7am Liothyronine 5mcg x 2 taken at 7am and 3pm. T3 still seems a little low,

How overcome a high B12 test from when I must supplement to function?
Both intrinsic factor and parietal antibody tests were positive ("abnormal") with B12 >2000. Methylmalonic Acid is normal at .28. I have Hashimoto's and other autoimmune conditions and I recently learned my mom was being treated for PA when she passed. After suffering so many of the symptoms of PA for

Found some old results
From all my test results in my bio, it is known I am a poor convertor. From recommendations within the Group back in 2016 it was felt I needed to add some T3, which my Endo at the time wouldn't do because of my severe anxiety levels and he said it would have to be dosed very carefully. I started the

Hi All, I have just got my blood results back and I am wanting to know what you all think and if you have any suggestions on how to improve. I don't understand my antibodies results and why my LDL is so high. Active B12 - 39 pmol/L (Normal Range 38 - 188) Corrected Calcium - 2.18 mmol/L (Normal

Liothyronin T3 and insulin resistance
I’ve been doing some research as my blood sugar levels (measured by HbA1C) have been persistently high despite exercise, low carb diet, weight loss and muscle gain. Prompted by the very wise SlowDragon that T3 can cause high sugars, I decided to delve deeper. I came across a lot of articles online

Weird feelings following reduced dose of thyroxine
A few weeks ago my thyroxine dose was reduced from 100 to 75mg. I had no warning, just a decision my GP made. I've been on various doses over the years, but 100 was felt to be the correct one for me. The past few days, I've been feeling like I'm shaky and unsteady. I've been giddy when bending over
