Does Heart Bypass Cock Up Heart Rate Monitors?
I have always had a HRM on my bike which senses heart rate from my chest band. However, since my bypass there is no signal being received. Is this a thing after heart surgery?!

I need to find a source of info for emoyment tribunal that outlines the substantial effects on day to day of not taking the medication prescribed post CABG x3. Eg Beta Blockers, aspirin, clopydodryl. Statins... ETc. We know that's to promote optimum health but apart from saying, he'll probably

Lipoprotein a
Hi. Does anyone have high lipoptotein A. Any success in reducing it? I'm 52 years old and have been told my coronary artery disease is premature so I was referred by cardio team to the lipid specialists. I was/am in good shape, decent weight/BMI and fitness. I'm now 8 weeks post-CABG x 2 and 7 months

Here is an update, my dad was in a coma from december to february. He came home in march but very weak. He was discharged from hospital very unsteady on his feet. He has lost a lot of weight, pains in his leg where the veins were taken, still very unsteady on his feet, cannot get in or out the bath,

The cards I have been dealt…
Hey guys, I’m lost. I had bypass surgery in January at 34 yrs old, healthy BMI, exercise, non-smoker. Originally they thought that my stenosis was caused by a nasty virus that I had when I was 19 but now it’s looking more and more likely that it is actually a type of arteriosclerosis. When I thought

Raised lump on CABG scar
I have a scar on my left forearm where the radial artery was harvested 17 months ago. Every now and then a “ sort of hive” appears in the exact same spot. It can be itchy but not sore in any way. It will go in a few hours. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Failed CABG
Hi all. So just over two years ago I had a double CABG. I required a graft to my LAD and OM2 artories. Over the last 6 months I have been having some angina-like pains and have just had the results from a cardio CT scan which shows my OM2 graft has failed. However, the cardiologist reckons that this

Hello Lovely People, This is my first post and I don’t even know whether I am doing this correctly. I had a Heart Attack at the age of 33 and ended up having Quintuple Cardiac Bypass Surgery. I have had a lot of anxiety since then about quality life and my life span in general. Which, I am pretty sure
