Fluid in lungs after cabg, heart bypass
Dear All So we went for my husband's first post op appointment today. There was fluid in his lungs post operation., which was 5.5 weeks ago. He took a diuretic medication as per the doctor's prescription. Today, from the x Ray, the Dr saw that the fluid is still there. He said that he is not worried

Advise on bypass surgery
Ive not been on this site before. Has anyone had a cardiac myxoma? I was sent for a Echocardiogram and because of results was not allowed to go home. I had bypass surgery to remove a tumour the size of an egg. I've been left with palpitations and a fast heart rate. My after care has been terrible.

Bypass surgery chest wound blistering
I’m new here & wondering if anyone has any advice. My husband had a cabg x 5 in January and his chest wound leaked for a long time thankfully that has cleared up but 3 blisters have formed on the wound now - the District nurse thinks they will reabsorb in time. Has anyone else experienced this?

Recuperation
Hi I had a qaudruple heart bypass on 03 December 2021, it's now almost twelve weeks since the surgery and I feel fit and well. I walk regularly between 12,000 to 15,000 steps each day. I'd like to start playing double tennis again, but I'm a little concerned how it might affect my sternum. Is there

No appointment available for rehab
Dear All My husband was referred for cardiac rehab to our local hospital. However, the hospital told us that they are dealing with a huge backlog and hence it will take a lot of time before he gets an appointment. Does anyone know of an alternative? I registered him on the bhf Weekly email thing for

CHD
My Mum died 11 days ago from CHD, My Dad had a triple heart bypass, 6 and half years ago. And sadly died 8 weeks later, CHD was one of the cause. What are the chances of me developing this?

Numbness around chest area
I had a heart bypass back in October and since my scar has healed I tend to find either side of it goes numb to the touch around the chest area, is this normal? Also, I have had absolutely no after care service from either hospital or my GP since my check up 6 weeks after the op, I was told there would
