Raised lump on CABG scar

I have a scar on my left forearm where the radial artery was harvested 17 months ago. Every now and then a “ sort of hive” appears in the exact same spot. It can be itchy but not sore in any way. It will go in a few hours. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I have had something similar especially the raised bit and looking red on the scar on my chest where I had my Bypass op

I have shown it the Doctor many times who has no concerns but 10 months later it is looking a lot better

I would let you Doctor have a look at it no doubt it will be alright but always good to get these things checked

If it happens to have gone down when you see your Doctor take the picture with you and show them x

Can it be a keloid scar? About a year ago I had a skin cancer cut out of my chest. The scar would be flat in the morning, but every afternoon one end would always come up in a red lump. the doctor said it was a keloid scar. It has finally stopped doing that.
