Levo increase or not?
Hi Everyone! My most recent TSH and T4 bloods (28/05) showed: TSH - 1.22 T4 - 11.8 I am on 50mcg of levothyroxine. Started 25 for 2 months, then increase to 50 for the past month. I have also been supplementing as directed by advice on here, including addressing my iron deficiency. I haven't retested

New hypo diagnosis-your help needed/appreciated!
Hi All, I’ve recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I’m a 39yo woman with 2 kids and I work full time. I was a keen runner/v active until a few weeks ago. My T4 level was 7.8 and my TSH 48…I’m two weeks into talking 50mcg of Levothyroxine which I take in the morning strictly 1 hour before eating

STILL can't find my dose
Last time I posted, I was going up to 225mcg, when at 200mcg my tsh was already 0.04 and FT4 17(9-19). Biggest mistake I ever made. I ended up feeling worse than ever before on 225mcg after about 4 weeks on it. The most SEVERE bedridden fatigue one could experience and the worst brain fog ever. No

Getting diagnosed with diabetes with under active thyroid
I struggled for years to get diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My TSH was borderline and sothe endocrinologist would not prescribe Thyroxine. I had to go to a private doctor to get treatment. Eventually my GP accepted the diagnosis and I have treatment on the NHS. Now I think I have diabetes. My blood

Hello, I'm a 38-year-old male with Thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma). I'm 174cm tall and weigh 152 lbs. I had surgery to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the surgery), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist

Weak Eggs. Causes. no blastos. WHY?
Does the protocol alter the quality of eggs? I got three eggs and two fertilised on my first cycle. My two eggs make it to day 5 blastocycts. (Though I was told they were ok on day 4) The cause was put down to age by the specialist. So gutting I am 39 and a half with FSH around 8 and AMH 2.2 I

Try naturally before starting norethisterone for new treatment cycle?
I am waiting to hear if my next cycle is going ahead based on AMH ans FSH levels and minimum NHS requirements. You must meet at least one. I do not meet AMH (minimum is 5 and mine is 2.2) My last FSH was 7.7 (in march)and the maximum for NHS treatment is 8.9. This is really nerve wracking. Bloods

Blood test results
Hi I had been on 50mcg of levothyroxine for about 6 weeks approx because I bought them online since my doctor wouldn't prescribe them at the time, as I have a pending hospital appointment with an endocrinologist at the end of this year and he wanted to wait until I'd see him/her first. I told the doctor

A Novel Association Between Human Papillomavirus and Thyroid Eye Disease
For many years, a vast proportion of documents appear to say that Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) - also know under various other names such as Graves' Eye Disease or Graves' Ophthalmopathy - occurs in association with Graves' Disease - the disease which results in hyperthyroidism. You can talk to doctors

No luck with GP
Hello you knowledgeable lot Armed with your advice i had a telecon with GP yesterday having requested by econsult a rise in levo from 75 to 100. I was quite upset (or much ruder words) by the end. He was at home and clearly had two small children with him chattering and playing which I found hugely
