Fenbendazole probably not working for me
In my case I think it is pretty clear that Fenbendazole has not been effective. Old History PSA 5.3, RP March 2009, Gleason 3+4, focal PNI PSA undetectable until Oct. 2011 PSA 0.658, Salvage Radiation Sept/Oct 2012 No impact on PSA, RO clueless July 2014, Nano-MRI at Radboud

Other questions about MRI scans vs PET/CT
I wrote a few weeks about about this question. One of the responses was: justfor 15 days ago The health hazard from a PET/CT comes from two components: That of the radiotracer and the CT irradiation. How to minimize each of them: 1) Higher sensitivity scanners need lower quantities of radiotracer

Zytiga failed now xtandi. PSA rise after only a few short months from 1.5 to 0.08 now 0.4. Moving on up
I just got the call from my oncologist about a hour ago, she said I'm sorry to inform you your PSA has risen to 0.4 from 0.08 6 weeks ago while currently on xtandi, after zytiga has failed. I had a radical prostectomy June 2016, then 2017, 37 radiation sessions, and zytiga kept the beast at bay with

Graduated Today - But Might Have Shin Splints?
Hi everyone, I've only just found this forum after graduating C25K. Its taken me 10 weeks of consistent running to get there (with week 5 repeated 3 times!) but I made it. Been reading lots of great advice about what to do next, and I'm going to take it easy by continuing to run for 30 minutes, again

steroid induced stress fractures
I am part of the PMR group, and have been on steroids for 1 1/2 years, doing well on that end, down from 20 to 10 mg daily. Unfortunately, I just found I have my 5th stress fracture! I had not had any prior to this. I am also getting Prolia and eat tums ultra 1000 as calcium is a no-no in other forms

Prednisone & Bone loss
., They are proposing I take > "initiate Alendronate treatment for your osteoporosis." and Alendronate (Fosamax) to prevent bone
fractures
. My strong preference is to minimize the cause [Prednisone] rather than add layers of new medicine.

Dexa Update
Hello all! I said I would let you know the results of my dexa. Prior to going on prednisone in October 2019, I had osteopenia and I just had another dexa done (about a year since my last one) and I am still in the osteopenia range although my numbers weren't quite as good for the spine and the hip

Who has been on Xofigo? What were side effects and outcome?
Saw my onc yesterday and he would like me to start Xofigo. I'm currently taking Xtandi and I've had an Orchiectomy so no other drugs. When my PSA reached 123 I went on Xtandi which knocked it down to 6 but then 3 mos later it was 12 then 22 and now is 25. I should also mention I'm BRCA2.

Raloxifene and improved bone density
I've been taking Raloxifene for 20 years and have not seen any improvement in bone density until my last DEXA. It showed a 5.6% increase in my spine and a 3.8% increase in my right hip. There was a small but insignificant increase in my left hip. The comparisons were made to my previous DEXA which was
