Shallow breathing for days
I'm on
Fostair
which I've now doubled, and I'm taking brown inhaler at midday, and blue inhaler two times a day. For reference, last week I was running 3k 3 times a week! This has really knocked me off my feet out of nowhere.

Dry mouth and post-inhalation mouth rinse
I use
Fostair
with an inhaler and always rinse then gargle, but with water only. My mouth is always dry particularly at night. Is there a mild mouth rinse that might be better than water, and could it help with the dry mouth?

Post steroid wean
I only had 1 full on attack, after which they added in Ipratropium nebs along with my salbutamol nebs four times a day, which seemed to help (I'm already on
fostair
200/6 and spiriva respimat). They have discharged me on these too.

Anybody suffers from seasonal asthma and use inhaler on demand?
I was assured that the nexthaler
fostair
is the way forward. My asthma is mild and well controlled it only bothers me in winter. Just would like some thoughts before I book my annual review and it is not easy to get appointment now. Thanks.

Weaning off inhslers
Level wasn’t right so she needed me to reduce
fostair
while waiting to be seen. I may have got this a wrapped around my head - but does it make sense to anyone? Thank you

Anyone have experience with symbicort? Being swapped to it as apparently they are trying to reduce salbutamol use?
I'm currently on
Fostair
1 puff twice a day and ventolin but she said with current guidelines they are trying to reduce the amount of salbutamol use as its better to have more inhaled steroids for asthma control? I thought salbutamol was less damaging to the body long term than inhaling steroids?

Doctor saying it isn't asthma, but I'm not really following what he says
GP switched me from seretide 250 to
fostair
200/6, but hospital switched me back again. Gp also doesn't like that I've been put on spiriva respimat, but they put me on that because they thought post nasal drip was causing issues. This year my asthma has seemed wayyyyy more erratic than ever before.

Eosinophilic Asthma and Benralizumab
Fostair
inhalers didn't help and the thing that worked was steroids. But the inflammation returned 6-8 weeks later after I had finished the course of steroids.

Dealing with Mucus
A brief summary of my condition is: - 32 Years old - Chronic cough with mucus congestion - Prescribed
Fostair
, Salbutamol and Spiriva Respimat but all have failed to help - Regularly have to take Co-Codamol for pains associated with cough - Bought a nebulizer and use 0.9% saline solution which helps

Up and down on Fostair
I have been on
Fostair
2 weeks tomorrow. On Sunday and Monday I was very relieved as my breathing improved after being sob for 3 weeks. I had 2 lovely days and felt well again thinking it's finally getting into my system. However when I woke up this morning I was sob again!

Running with asthma
I’ve been on
Fostair
for a couple of years but don’t seem to be getting any benefit from it and still feel like I need my ventolin before exercise. Has anyone swapped to seretide and seen an improvement?

Copd with asthma treatment
I have a

nexthaler, which really helps, but I take more than I should 😬. I was asked to try Incruse Elipta as well, but it did nothing . The same with Trimbo on its own. In fact, my breathing was awful & I only lasted 3 days before grabbing the

inhaler problem
I use
Fostair
which is the best I have ever been prescribed, however from about a year ago they started running out way before the counter reached zero and have recently got worse, now i regularly have my inhaler stop working with up to seventy doses still indicated.

Have run out of fostair nexthaler 100/6
I thought I had a spare canister but just found out I have run out. Since it is Easter bank holiday I am hoping I will be able to manage until I get a prescription on Monday. Previously when I was on becotide I usually stopped taking it about this time but due to covid I have been taking it regularly

Hi I need some advice they've changed my steriod inhaler nearly two weeks ago from the brown one to
fostair
nexthaler as I'm still struggling with my breathing and had two asthma flare ups due to blood pressure pills. I was wondering when should I see improvement in my chest? How long does it take?

Action plan conundrum
My understanding is that I can take up to 8 inhalations of
Fostair
per day (
Fostair
200/6), and I will read up, but is that other people’s experience too?

Using a spacer for the first time
I have only recently been diagnosed and have been given a
Fostair
inhaler. My doctor suggested to me that I might benefit from using a spacer and I got an Aerochamber plus today. I'm worried that I'm being incredibly dim!
