Hypo type episode on Dapaglaflozin/Forxiga, and Spironolactone, while waiting for a pacemaker upgrade. Advice anyone?
I felt sweaty and shaky after skipping breakfast this morning, and looking at the leaflet for Dapaglaflozin, I see one of the side effects is to cause low blood sugar levels. It's a diabetes drug which has been found to help with Heart Failure patients. It makes you pee away blood sugar. So I ate some

Lisinopril, A-Fib enlarged left atrium,
I was taking Diltiazem 60 mg 12HR ER Cap 2 times a day for A-fib and hypertension. I stopped it as doctor recommended when I had to take Paxlovid for Covid. I didn't get A-fib when I didn't go back to taking the Diltiazem and have been off of it for more than 2 months. I'm thinking of taking Lisinopril

Shock diagnosis and 4 week wait for "Rapid Access" Heart Failure Clinic. Is my Anxiety justified?
Two weeks ago I went for a stress echo test. It was a real shock. After a preliminary echo the test was abandoned. Serious faces and mutterings all round ensued, and a cardiologist came in, studied the screen and told me I had heart failure! She advised me not to go on my planned holiday till I'd seen

Lisinopril
Just wondering if any one knows the advantages, lisinopril has on the heart? I know it is good as lowering blood pressure. It has helped my blood pressure. But what other advantages does it have. It does state that it is good for symptomatic heart failure. But can this help injection fraction? I just

A wee question. I have normal Blood pressure. My GP, supported by my consultant has prescribed an Ace inhibitor Lisinopril as it is great benefit for CKD, even if you don’t have hypertension or diabetes. When I started on 10mg, 12 days ago, I felt so much better and had more energy, obviously due

Just looking for help like most of you.
I have been lurking here and on other sites, hoping to find some path to reduce or eliminate if possible my PLMD. I think I have had it for many years, but was officially diagnosed with it during an in lab sleep study I had recently. They found mild sleep apnea which is now well controlled with CPAP

opinions welcome
Seven years ago, I had a quintuple bypass and a heart valve reconstruction. I am on atorvastatin atenolol lisinopril tamsulosin finasteride. My lab work of these years has been kept in the green for the most part. I’ve been hearing a lot lately about how statins have side effects, and how cholesterol
