NUREX - 2127 ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY STARTING CYCLE 14
Here's an update of my second clinical trial. I started this BTK degraeder November 11, 2021, now here I am, over a year later and doing really well. Other than neutropenia, and having to get a monthly neulasta injection, my blood counts have continued trending to normal levels. Here are my starting

Latest Fish test results??
I just had another Fish test completed due to the fact that the Ibrutinib that I have been on for almost 5 years is not working as well anymore. In my first Fish test many many years ago I was Trisomy 12 .The new report now shows that I have acquired both deletions of 13q and 17p and still have Trisomy

Any recent experiences of AIHA developing in progressive CLL - particularly in those treated with or awaiting Venetoclax treatment?
Hi all. Well, 2nd line treatment day one came yesterday, and I dutifully scrubbed up and turned up at the hospital for 0830 to start my planned Venetoclax ramp up. I was somewhat apprehensive tbh, partly because of side effects, partly because of having to hang around haem/onc waiting room for 6 hrs

IgHV - unmutated and Acalabrutinib
Saw my CLL specialist yesterday and he had the results of the IgHV testing he requested. It seems I am unmutated status which isn't great news. At the time of starting treatment, we were in 1st year of pandemic and Acalabrutinib was offered. As he said normally I would have been offered FCR because

Hello everyone, My 46 yo husband was dx with CLL in 2009. He was treated with the following: - FCR (4 year remission) - Imbruvica (worked for 5 years but caused A-fib) - And since 2020, 6 cycles of Rituxan and 2 years of Venetoclax CBCs are okay except for Platelets just below normal (around 120

RISK OF DYING OF COVID DURING THIS OMICRON PHASE
Hi, Covid Mortality Rates, I am wondering about the reality. I've read everything from 33% - 89% until Omicron. I've read 2% in a recent publication from Denmark during their Omicron phase, and most of those deaths were in age > than 71, with many other serious morbidities. Half of those dying

Total knee replacement. Looking for advice, guidance and wisdom.
I have a few concerns about my upcoming Total Knee Replacement surgery and would really appreciate hearing from those who have already been through this. Main concerns. 1. Does this major joint surgery impact negatively on CLL? Thats big issue. Currently in post FCR remission. 2. What may I reasonably

What a journey
THANKS FOR THE ADD....Back in 2010 I was sent to a local oncologist, and he was my doctor for 3 years, he pushed for FCR straight out of the gate, I had done so much reading and research, I knew better than doing it. So, a trip to the James to a CLL specialist, after multiple tests and a lot of sole

My Covid experience.
I write this as only the facts. I don’t intend to make any political statement, nor want to argue. Just the facts: On 7/7/22 my wife and I hosted two young families for a cookout. By the end of the evening, I felt pretty tired but chalked it up to a day of hustling around smoking meats, husking corn

Has anyone had a brain MRI while on venetoclax or rituximib ?
I began to relapse CLL early 2021, started treatment on venetoclax Aug 2021 and then 6 X monthly rituximib infusions. In Mar 2022, a month after the last infusion ,( after a bit of nausea over the previous couple of months) I had BAD nausea in the night then two very brief faints/blackouts, then vomitting

CAR T-Cell Use Possible in Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
So traditionally, with CAR T cells in leukemia and lymphoma, they give cyclophosphamide and
fludarabine
. We weren't sure whether that would be necessary when we were translating this to solid tumors because the solid tumor is not in the space where leukemia and lymphoma reside.

Evusheld and heart
I’m now eligible for Evusheld (in Australia), being recently finished Rituxamib. My wife & I have been very cautious and are Covid-free so far, but thinking with so many Covid cases circulating now, it’s probably prudent to have the Evusheld however, my careful daughter found a vague reference in FDA

BTK+Venetoclax trial in the UK?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any upcoming BTK+Venetoclax trials in the UK. The only one listed is the AVO vs AV vs FCR which is basically not recruiting anymore (probably because of the FCR arm). There are loads of these trials around the world but none in the UK. I wonder why. It seems
