Group 6 and Vaccine
Usually with the
flu
jab my arm swells up and aches and I feel shattered. So far nothing of the sort has happened with the covid vaccine. No swelling on my arm at all. No redness. No tiredness. No pain. Very slight arm ache but nothing compared to what the
flu
vaccine usually does to me.

Living by the sea
I was 63 and 2 months before symptoms I moved near to the sea (which is at the end of my road) and had my first
flu
vaccination. Just throwing it out there, as I always wonder if either of these are significant. Having said this, I will still be having a Covid vaccination.

Poor support for self-isolation undermines the UK's Covid vaccination effort. Anthony Costello (Independent Sage)
Then we can treat the virus like seasonal
flu
, with booster doses to protect against new variants. At Monday’s press briefing, the deputy chief medical officer for England, Jonathan Van-Tam, confirmed as much. So the national strategy has not changed.

COVID-19
Still thought it was the
flu
until my nephrologist told me those were Covid-19 symptoms. It is now 10 days later and the symptoms have reduced. Still worried I might wake up struggling to breath. But for now, continued mask wearing!

Hello, it's been a while.
The latter kept him in bed the second week and we put it down to the
flu
. I mean how could we of all people have Covid? Then my symptoms started, which were much the same, except that I lost my sense of smell and taste on day 3.

Can symptoms of PMR come and go ?
I have had this more or less consistently until 3 days ago when I felt like I had
flu
, much more general aching and exhaustion but strangely less pain and stiffness than before in hips, neck, shoulders, knees, upper arms .

What is it like to live with PMR?
Your skin feels tender - as if you have
flu
- so even a shower hurts and then you have to get dry. Your hands won't do what you want them to and you can't get them up far enough to blow-dry your hair - which has turned into straw anyway so does it really matter?

New to group
I had a bad case of
flu
for a few weeks before the diagnosis. All of a sudden I was coughing constantly and becoming more and more breathless to the point that I was crawling up the stairs as I couldn’t walk up them and waking up in the middle of the night gasping for breath.

Prep for side effects of casodex vs zytiga and prednisone
It hit me like the worst
flu
ever (symptoms above). The main discomfort was an inability to eat or drink, which exacerbated the other symptoms. So I quit taking it. Dr. says, we go to Zytiga and prednisone next.

Lockdown linked to drop in asthma attacks, GP data suggests.
Lower levels of air pollution, fewer cold and
flu
infections, and the fear of attending doctor surgeries due to Covid-19 were possible reasons for the 20pc drop in cases seen at GP surgeries, researchers said.

It's sad as the winter
flu
jabs were done a different way in NHS Lothian this year and it worked with military precision. However despite quite a lot of publicity the powers that be won't come clean about the GP situation. Anyone else in same boat? Diana
