Thoughts on test results
This is my first post. I’ve been avidly reading back through past information and found it very empowering - I’ve been inspired to take control of my health. I’ve just had results back from a Medichecks thyroid panel and would appreciate your thoughts. Full information about my history and symptoms

In October 2020 I restarted HRT (I still had/have) hot flushes, but within 2 months I had started to gain weight and on balance I thought that I would rather

Further advice on solving the burning in my feet please.
Thank you to everyone who has previously offered advice on this website, I’m writing again in need of a little bit more advice. I followed your suggestion, spoke to my consultant, and suggested that initially raising my T4 might help. He sent a second email to my GP and on the 4th April 2024, I began

Should I stop Ferrous Fumarate before Blood Test?
Hi, I was prescribed Ferrous Fumarate after my last bloods showed very low in ferritin levels (I'm Hashi's). I'm due my follow up routine blood test for thyroid levels and ferritin / iron next week. Do I need to stop taking the Ferrous Fumarate ahead of the blood test? Thanks so much

Levothyroxine linked to high blood sugar readings.
I got up this morning and planned to check my blood sugar but was wondering why the readings lately have been running a little high and just thought i would look up if my levothyroxine might have anything to do with it. I am glad i found your site, i learned a lot from here. I am on a low dose, 25mg

Macrocytic Anemia?
Hi, I am posting here for my Mom. She had blood work every year with perfect results until last year in September when the Hemoglobin/RBC/Hemocrit started dropping. She never had anemia before. In March of this year MCV and MCH started going up and be higher then normal. I took her to a hematologist

Latest Private Test
Hi there, I'm still waiting on a telephone app with my GP, but my new private antibody test results have come back. I get these done myself as we know GP's and the Endo situation is pretty poor for most of us, as our symptoms often get dismissed. The last endo appt said I may be at risk of developing

Ndt and iodine supplement?
Hello everyone! I started treatment with NDT in t4 6 micrograms and t3 1.4 in December 2023. I tolerate it well and I'm happy about it! From my analysis done this month it turns out that my ft4 is 0.98 and ft3 is 2.69 and the tsh is 1.34... How do you find these analyses? My endocrinologist wants to

Switching from NDT back to T3 only
Is something like NDT (T4) withdrawal symptoms possible? To be exact, if you are on T3 only but due to some circumstances have to take NDT for a couple of weeks as a replacement and then again can switch back to T3 only, then because of the longer half-life of T4 (up to 9 days I've read), can it become
