Starting T3
Today I saw an nhs endo who agreed to prescribe a 3 month trial of T3 (liothyroxine) From previous post and advice on here I believe I am a poor converter. He wasn’t entirely sympathetic and disagreed with most things I said. His views included ‘no point in testing T4 or T3 as it’s too variable, only

TSH level increase after total thyroidectomy(8 years ago)
However, I had taken my medication (
euthyrox
150mg) on the morning of this blood test. Therefore, the test was repeated and in the new test, the level was seen as 22. My T3 and T4 levels are within normal ranges (4 and 16).

Should I increase my T4 medication? (On T3 and T4 medication)
I am currently on 25mg T3 (Thybon Henning) and 37.5mg T4 (
Euthyrox
). While my symptons are improved, my energy level is stll 7/10 and my weight loss effort is stuck. I have recently done my blood test where my free t4 is still low.

A (failed?) attempt to stop thyroid medicines.
I started
euthyrox
on the advice of my gp when my TSH was 2.89 (0.27-4.20). My antibodies were also slightly elevated (TPO: 112 [0-34]) and they remain on this range until today.

Levo increase… good and bad days?
Hello everyone, As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to Greece and bought some T4,
Euthyrox
which is the equivalent of Levothyrox ( brand I’ m using in France). I started two weeks ago on 125 levo ( from 100, previous dose) on my return from Athens.

Euthyral prescription ... dose
Hi everyone, I have finally been prescribed Euthyral by my French GP. He didn't know what Cynomel or Cytomel was so I couldn't convince him to go down that road (yet). My question is dosing ... I have been taking 100mcg L Thyrox for the last couple of years and still getting crippling tiredness, sporadic

Eutirox and Euthyrox
Recently I ran out of 100’s from one continent which I had been on for maybe a year and so started to use
Euthyrox
50’s instead. I’ve been on them approaching 3 weeks now. I have started to wonder if they are actually levo at all. Feel crap. Looked at the excipients, one of which is mannitol.

Hypo symptoms after reducing NDT
I was put on
Euthyrox
which wasn’t working for me. My hypo symptoms did not get better, and I continued putting on weight (17 kg up since my thyroid issues begun). I switched to ndt (thyroid-s) since last year, which seems to work better for me.

Levothyroxine vs Euthyrox
I had no issues with this, then my last refill was for
Euthyrox
. After the fifth dose, I got a rash on my ankles. Is it possible that the difference in the fillers that could be causing this?

Euthyrox not so good anymore?
Hello, I have been wondering if the new
Euthyrox
formulation is not so effective. I used
Euthyrox
2018- 2020 and it worked well. Then I tried NDT and T3, but went back to levo because it's hard to get in my country. I used to take 125/150 but now I am still having symptoms on dosage 175mcg.

Medication
Interested to know if anyone has been prescribed and taking Eutriox (
Euthyrox
) as I have read very bad reviews in in over 81% of patients taking it (most of the reviews appear to be American) plus read it has been withdrawn in France and am meant to start taking it. Worried.

Sudden onset of vertigo - could it be thyroid related?
Hi all, The earliest appointment I've got a GP appointment for is7 Feb. and by visio, for my sudden onset of vertigo. I am visiting my elderly mum in UK for a week and woke up first morning with vertigo in bed as if I was very drunk and had to hold onto the mattress to get balance, eyes kept scrolling
