Is there big difference if I do my labs before 9:00 or bit later if I still left 24h between last dose and labs?
I recently moved to the countryside and the nearest laboratory is 70 km away.
I switched from Euthyrox 175mcg to BerlinChemie 150mcg and been on this now 6weeks. I normally take 6:00 .
My labs 24h/ 11:15 morning
TSH 0,02 (0,4- 4,0)
FT4 15,0 (9,0- 19,0)
FT3 5,23 (2,4- 6,0)
Labs look quite good and I feel quite good too, much better than on Euthyrox but I feel sometimes overdrived. I feel my very best just before new dose. I feel there is too much levo in my system but numbers don't show this😀
In the mornings I feel my stress hormones goes too high and I sweat more than usually. But my body temperature is ideal 36,4. My cycle is also a bit too long, it should be 28-30days but this time 40days.
I don' t know what to do- to feel just a little bit better?
Do you think my numbers are higher if labs were taken before 9:00?

In the UK many doctors just go by TSH and adjust the dose by that. So it is important for some to have the highest TSH possible to keep their dose at a good level.
Okay.. My TSH is always very low. Years ago she kept me sick with "important" TSH... but once we had argue and I told her she is so outdated and keeping me ill. I begged her to look my ft4 and ft3, how low these were with "good" TSH. Sent her even some internet info. I think she was offended. Finally she even agreed to order me some T3 to try. So it has been very long ride with her.
Then she let go....told me to manage then myself if I am so smart😀...Now I call her only to write referral letter or extend the prescription. Seems to suit both of us.
I live in Estonia and we don't have here good thyroid doctors either.
Eating iron rich foods like liver or liver pate once a week plus other red meat, pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate, plus daily orange juice or other vitamin C rich drink can help improve iron absorption
This is interesting because I have noticed that many patients with Hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism, start to feel worse when their ferritin drops below 80 and usually there is hair loss when it drops below 50.
Thyroid disease is as much about optimising vitamins as thyroid hormones
Never supplement iron without doing full iron panel test for anaemia first and retest 3-4 times a year if self supplementing. It’s possible to have low ferritin but high iron
We have received further information the lab about ferritin reference ranges. They confirm that they are sex dependent up to the age of 60, then beyond the age of 60 the reference range is the same for both sexes:
Males 16-60: 30-400 ug/L
Female's: 16-60: 30-150
Both >60: 30-650
The lower limit of 30 ug/L is in accordance with the updated NICE guidance and the upper limits are in accordance with guidance from the Association of Clinical Biochemists. ‘
Omg...I found out just I'm pregnant !? 😀 it should be very very early, only maybe 4+ weeks. These levels tested 2 days ago, are they okay for early pregnancy or should I up my meds already?
With my second child I upped meds right away 25mcg but this was more than 6 years ago and I don't even remember what my numbers were.
This is very big suprise for me because we have been trying long time. So didn' excpect it at all.
HiFirstly you have contacted this site, good. Lots of helpful people here to try their best to guide you. Slow Dragon is right about the diet. I also take my levo before I get out of bed then my first drink is freshly squeezed lemon in boiling water so no caffeine. Also, many people if possible, get private blood tests as our GP's only test TSH as you know. I think most people try to get their labs done early. I sweat more when my levels are off. Age can have an effect on cycles unless you feel that you are too young for that. Have you told your GP about feeling hyper?
