Help, pain and bleeding with the Merina coil
I had a Laparoscopy back in August 2017 to diagnose Endometriosis and to have the Merina coil fitted. I have had little to no pain while I've had the coil but unexpectedly I have begun bleeding. I made an emergency appointment the same day and was told the the hormones in the coil must be waring off.

Desogestrel (mini pill) and bleeding
I was wondering if anyone else is taking Desogestrel as hormone therapy and experiences bleeding? I've been bleeding since my 13th day on the pill and it has since been about 4 days now. Anyone else experience this?

Laparoscopy came back clear
Hey guys, it’s good news but I’m confused. The consultant said he didn’t find anything and I have the cleanest pelvis he’s seen (lol), which is good. But now I’m stuck because I don’t know what the pain is caused by :/ I get mainly bowel pain so when I need to poop it’s like contractions (can be absolute

Endometrial scarring
Hey ladies! So i had my lap on Tuesday.. the surgeon said he found no “active endometriosis” but found scarring on my left side, which had been left by it. Long story short I have been put on desogestrel aswell as already having the implant to add more hormones into my body. Apparently this means they

Sick of this disease!!!
I'm so fed up with this flipping disease. Ive been stuck in PMT for 2 weeks now. Still no period. I'm bedridden with pre-period pain. I dread to think how this cycle is going to go if the pre pain is anything to go by. I have been under alot of stress so that's probably affected it. I just want it to

Which pill is best?
Hi, new to this, was diagnosed with pcos in October. Have seen gynaecologist twice and has now decided that best treatment for my symptoms (mood swings, facial hair, hair loss) is the pill called ‘desogestrel’. I got the prescription from the doctors today but after looking online I’m not sure if this

Help with desogestrel
Have been taking Desogestrel for 4 weeks now. Had period this week & pain was still excruciating, ended up in A&E, days off work etc. Still bleeding & still in a lot of pain & discomfort. I think the bleeding is lasting longer than before I started on this pill & this is what is causing a lot of my pain

desogestrel pill
Morning ladies. I was wondering if anybody uses the desogestrel pill (mini pill)? I have recently been put on it and I have been bleeding really heavily, also there have been lots of clots, is this normal? I was put on it due to severe migraines but the doctor told me it is endometrosis save.

progestogen-only pill
I was prescribed Desogestrel by my doctor, and started it straight away (Friday). My period is not due for another 2 weeks, and I have never been pregnant. I would like to know when i'll be able to have sex without using any additional contraceptives e.g condoms. (im going onto my fourth pill)

Munalea 150/30 to 150/20 micrograms?
Hi, I've been on Munalea 150/30 microgram for the past year and recently changed GP who perscribed me Munalea 150/20 microgram. The two are practically the same except for the difference between the micrograms of the ethinylestradiol. Do I just continue as normal or do I treat it as starting a new contraceptive

Change to contraception
For the past 5 years I have been using microgynon as a form of contraception. Recently my doctors have changed my contraception due to me getting migraines. They have now put me on Desogestrel. I wasn't overly keen about moving to this pill as I was comfortable on my microgynon and was use to the way

Symptoms we shouldn't ignore
Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2015 and had an ovarian endometrioma removed in July 2015. Since then I am very lucky to only have a few symptoms and very little discomfort. I've been put on Desogestrel which I seem to get on with and seems to be helping to manage it. However, I
