How should I feel on biologics?
Hi I have been lucky enough to be prescribed Erelzi (a biosimilar for
etanercept
) alongside methotrexate. I’ve taken it for 4 weeks now.

I didn't have any problems with
etanercept
but now suffer for 3/4 days post injection. What with that and feeling so bad for 3/4 days post methotrexate I'm just about ready to throw in the towel!

Painful flare due to delays of transfer to new Rheumy team.
My RA has been well controlled with a combination of methotrexate,
etanercept
and nabumetone. Moving home and the gap in transferring from one hospital rheumy team to another has led to me being without
etanercept
for the last 3 weeks.

There's Light at the end of the Tunnel
I started self injecting 4 weeks ago with Erelzi (50mg
Etanercept
once a week) what a difference. The swelling in my wrists and ankles has subsided a bit and the fatigue isn't as bad. I have also cut back on my painkillers.

Vaccinations and Etanercept
Hi all. I'm flying to Australia in August and hoping to visit Bali for a week. I have read that they recommend the Typhoid and Hep A vaccinations but unsure whether I can have these as I take Leflunomide and Etanercetpt. I have tried to contact HaH but haven't received a reply yet. Just wondering if

5 injection on Etanercept update
Hello All Just want to share my update as I am now 5 weeks in. I made a bit of a mess up as came off the mtx when apparently I was suppose so keep taking it ! I was somewhat confused as thought this biologic was suppose to replace the mtx, as I would get a sore mouth and burning in the stomach sensation

Hi I'm new on here and have Ankylosing Spondylitis...
I tried the Humira and
Etanercept
injections with no joy to the chronic pain I suffer every day. I was told by the Rheumatologist that there was nothing else they can do and was referred to an Orthopaedic.

Hello
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the biologic
Etanercept
? This is what I will potentially be trying, but I have some trepidation due to potential side effects. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Rituximab versus Etanercept
Regular dmards have not worked for me and my Rheumatologist has asked that I decide between Rutuximab and
Etanercept
. Both seem quite frightening. Would like to know your experiences of these medications as it is a difficult decision to make. Look forward to your responses.

Enbrel
I have been on Enbrel (
Etanercept
) for about 18months and to me it has been a wonder drug but I am now being told by my NHS that I have to switch to the new cheaper option of "a Biosimilar" being produced in England. Has anyone used one or has any information about it please!
