T3 dosage Query
Hello, Following very helpful advice from this group, I had a telephonic consultation with a private endocrinologist regarding my consistently low T3, T4 and TSH (the main goal was to get a repeat of my T3 as I had run out). My T3 was very low and I was taking 25ug 1x daily before running out. The

Update: 25 months on transdermal estradiol (tE2) and counting.
Just received the results of my blood work drawn on 5/14/2020 and needless to say I am quite pleased. I am self medicating with E2 gel only and haven't seen a doctor since 7/2017. The ONLY side effect is gynecomastia (man boobs) which I don't perceive as a big deal. I apply an amount as pictured twice

Question on Clearblue ovulation test
Hi I bought clearblue tests which are supposed to track
estradiol
and LH and it says on the package to test after your longest sleep. So I have tested every morning. The
estradiol
rise was caught by the test (flashing smile) but 10 days later, the LH was not caught (non flashing smile).

Stony Brook Estrogen Trial for COVID-19.
However, women are doing better than men at all ages, yet postmenopausal women often have far less
estradiol
than their husbands. Is estrogen really the answer?

Estradiol vs ADT?
I seek the experience (and even the opinion!) of the hive mind on this: I hear and read occasionally about oestradiol as being equivalent to LHRH agonists for testosterone suppression minus some of the famous nasty side effects. My instinct is that it’s too good to be true but I’m keeping an open

Has anyone experience of Ospemifene
Hi I am interested to hear of anyones experience of taking the oral tablet Ospemifene and does it help with atrophy. Is it available in the UK? I am unable to use vagifem and estriol; the discharge burns and causes so much discomfort. I am due to see a pelvic floor dermatologist in a couple of days

RRP Oct2016, slowly rising uPSA over past year in addition to several other issues including hypogonadism, intermittent TRT, osteopenia, etc
fT is an antagonist of PTH like hormone so if fT is low it is unchecked and breaks down more bone was the reasoning behind this effort. o HOWEVER, this was stopped when
Estradiol
rose from 8 to 209 (follow up test was 179).

CRPC & Transdermal Estrogen
Conclusion: Transdermal
estradiol
appears to be a low toxicity treatment option to control CRPC after failure of steroid therapy. Modulation of sex hormone binding globulin by transdermal
estradiol
may be one mechanism of action of estrogens on CRPC.

41 Perimenopause? Femoston. History of unusual fibroid- concerns. Help!
Sorry this is quite long as my history of issues is complex. I have been struggling with my health for 6 years (when I was 35) it started with fatigue and headaches then skin issues (tiny blisters on face and rashes on neck & forearms) then horrendous bloating, abdominal pain and finally crippling back

Help to interpret 24 h saliva test results, please
In January ´20, I ordered a 24 h saliva test kit from Genova Diagnostics (overnight delivery using DHL, samples kept refrigerated at all times). The results showed slightly elevated cortisol levels throughout the day. I´d really appreciate comments on the results (reference ranges in brackets): Drugs

Terrified of more ADT, looking for advice
I've heard that transdermal
estradiol
is an alternative to Lupron, but my medical onc says it's dangerous. Can anyone weigh in on that?

IVF Day 5 of Gonal-F
My progesterone is 1.2 they said and my E2
estradiol
was 700ish. Does anyone know if my numbers and follicle sizes sound ok?? This is the farthest I've got (my last IVF cycle was cancelled day 4 of stims as well), so feeling unsure! 😔 Any insight would be appreciated, thank you ladies!!

Blood test results
Recent blood work shows that I may be menopausal FSH - 33.9
Estradiol
- 205 I am not sure that this explains all my symptoms, so I requested additional tests. Thyroid and full blood count all fine.

When to start Estrogen after Bueserilin?
My clinic doesn't do a ‘down regulation scan’ to ensure the endometrium is thin and no abnormalities are detected so I’m a bit concerned about starting the
estradiol
valerate without allowing a bit of a bleed. Thanks!
