Question to those of you on estrogen replacement
Do you take oral estrogen, or use estrogen cream or patches? If you have tried more than one form of estrogen, which one did you prefer and why? It would be interesting to know your doctor's reasons for prescribing one or the other. I am asking because the Hertoghe doctors only work with dermal estrogen

Dr Henry Lindner's take on control of thyroid hormone treatment and effects on other hormones
Dr Henry Lindner has been discussing the complicated relation between thyroid hormones, cortisol and others and the difficulty in getting them all in balance. Hypothyroidism and all its effects are reversible with time--but it can take many months, even years. However, there is another, equally important

Testosterone & PCa in Hypogonadal Men.
New study below. "We used data from 376 untreated hypogonadal men ..." "Our findings suggest that the later a male's T dropped below 12.1 nmol/l, the less the lifetime risk of PCa the individual had [Hazard ratio (HR): 0.68" Note that "12.1 nmol/l" is ~350 ng/dL, the standard cutoff for hypogonadism.

Good afternoon, I am really worried. I've seen various gynaecologist, but I am really not happy. The short story is: in October 2016 a scan shows that I got various fibroids. I was having heavy periods compare to my normal ones and I was anaemic. The gp prescribed tremaxemic acid and metanfemic acid

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but have been reading several posts before joining, this has given me valuable information and the courage to write a post. I've been suffering with symptoms of what I think is an underactive thyroid for over 18 months and never realised it related to a Thyroid

Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Thyroid Axis Set Point Alterations Are Associated With Body Composition in Androgen-Deprived Men
Abstract Objective: Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) given to men with prostate cancer is associated with metabolically adverse changes in body composition leading to insulin resistance, but the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. We investigated prospectively whether androgen deprivation
